A kid next to me in the 3rd grade had a circle template for drawing/drafting.  We'd pass it back and forth to draw choppers.

I went on to own a few bikes (dirt and street) and to be a draftsman.  I don't know where that kid ended up but I'm certain he at least owned a bike himself.

 

Have had my drivers license endorsement for over 40 years but not owned a street bike in ~30.  Texting.

 

I used to dream of building a naked GoldWing...

I used to think “ man I wish we had got Dabo “ ….. since I respect him as a coach and a man.    But the more I listen .  The more I think , we may have came out to the better. Shane is his fathers son.  And that’s a great place to start from if you know his dad.  About time to kickoff USC football 🏈.  Jerseys and flags came out here this morning……there’s a nip in the air ( at least for the first hour after sunup lol)  go cocks!

Not sure on the status of the PC Cider Mill.  Was vacated for some number of years, reopened as a restaurant, and that closed.  Property dispute legalities.  Curiosity search didn’t offer anything conclusive. 

 

There’s a great cider/orchard place in our township that we go to for cider fixes.  For an old school mill experience, we head to one that is just south of Fenton.

This isn’t all Americans thinking. Not really even most.  It’s a relatively even split.  Although I do see the kids coming up skewing it.  I blame YouTube and Instagram for making them  think owning a super car and McMansion is a real goal , and that anything is fair game and above board to achieve that reductive ideal.

This is kinda ironic bcs jus yesterday I was thinking after reading the ‘been to a concert lately’ thread that like 90%+ of the concerts 19th holers attend are bands that were big in the 60s and 70s and now they are just cashing checks with some iteration of what they were. About one step above seeing a tribute band IMHO. Just an observation, I get why… and now back to your regularly scheduled program 😊

He’s been one of my top guys out there for a while. His attitude and his JL gear appeal to me. Kinda why I was drawn to Cam Smith. I don’t do cookie cutter.
