Looks to be a double anodize - black on the face and they taped it off and red on the body after. Pretty complex but yes to replicate the old black face insert he had cosmetically when looking down at it.

I’d say they did the exact same process on the Toulon as they did on the oworks red putters. Looks exactly the same. I love it.

A complete guess but I think Toulon may bring the #7 headshape to their line as a revamped Las Vegas. It seems like in this newest iteration for Xander the sole has much more retail branding and the fact theyre calling this a Las Vegas makes me think this is the direction they are going. I could be completely wrong and reading into this too much, but I personally think this would be a great move and a very very very popular retail model.

They would be beating Cameron to the punch if they did so.  I hope they don’t have the rounded section between the wings if they do.  Flat across like the Phantom 5.5 please.

I’m pretty sure that Xander just likes the contrast with the face and the rest of the putter, might help alignment a bit. I read an article explaining that his older black insert was just a white hot insert painted black for visual/alignment preferences (everyone thought he was using the black dfx insert)

I asked Johnny Wunder on IG during his Friday Q&A's and he said absolutely not coming to retail. I was almost certain Toulon was revamping the las vegas to be a #7 head but i guess not.

I really thought they were teasing this one as something that would be coming to retail. That's a real bummer if not.

If you guys are asking for the red colored heads everyone is correct that they are never coming to retail in the Toulon line.

 

If you guys are asking if an H3 neck Las Vegas will come to retail then, theres a chance, but it will be in silver/black like the retail models.

My question didn't mention anything about red. It was in regards to Xander's putter says Las Vegas even though it's an Odyssey #7 head. So the question pertained to if Toulon is changing their Las Vegas headshape and adopting the #7 head shape.

I dont believe they are. If memory serves we may see a current-looking LV model with plumbers neck (H3 in toulon) but it will not look like Xanders as those are Odyssey shapes and are protos for him.

The new 7CH in the Tri Hot 5k looks really similar to Xander's shape.

I think that is the point... he was using a Odyssey #7 in the o-work version. The trihot has the larger #7 headshape in doublebend, not sure about CH.

I have the Tri-Hot 7 CH, it definetly has a bigger head than the O-works or OG 7 models.  That red Toulon proto for Xander is straight fire....I want one bad!!!!

You are the only one who said it best ! Scotty has made fools of so many ! I don’t notice or am I aware of the color of the face when putting ! It’s what I hear ! And that determines the feel . Having a putter that looks like a B-1 bomber is not going to get it done in the long run . If you need something pretty to look down on or in your bag I don’t know what to tell you . Stricker , Faxon , Woods don’t need those big branding irons with a pretty face .

U know Xander is one of the most consistent putters on Tour right? And he has used the same putter model basically his whole career, he just changes the color and insert/material every once in a while.

Ya’ll weird lmao. You do realize Xander’s putter (Odyssey #7) has been one of the most popular models on Tour for years, right? And pretty much all other fanged mallets (such as Scotty’s Phantom X5 - which is one of the most popular Cameron’s on Tour) took inspiration from the Odyssey #7?
