Got my new RTX6 Zipcore Tour Rack wedge!!!

Man, just perfection… I love my CBX Zip 60* but it’s not great off tight lies and firm condition. I went with the full sole with the S grind and rounded leading edge. LOVE the way it looks, and can’t wait to test it.

I didn't like how they started curving their leading edge, I know it's subtle but you can see it here.

 

 

Yours looks dead straight, I love that look, might have to go back to Cleveland.

I was worried how mine would look because the wedges I saw had the curved leading edge as well. I’m very happy the lead edge grind squared up the leading edge.

This is VERY interesting as I’m a Cleveland wedge guy that detests the round leading edge of my RTX Zipcores. 
 

These will be getting tested FOR SURE. 
 

Came back to look again - massive improvement for my eye.

Oh I didn't realize you had that done specifically, I thought that came off the shelf that way, looks great either way.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the leading edge to look that good. I thought it would still be rounded, but was pleasantly surprised. I might take just a touch more off the heel in the sole, but I’m going to try it first.

No, that’s the full sole Tour Rack, with the S grind and ground leading edge.

Have you had a chance to test this thing yet? How is it for opening the face?

It was really good. I might take a touch more off the heel side if needed on the firmer turf/sand but it’s still pretty soft around here. The leading edge stays pretty low and the trailing edge relief makes it easy to slide the club under the ball.

Just got my set from Cleveland. Went with a 58* low for lob wedge. Can’t wait to try them on the course

Looks nice, but prefer the rounded leading edge on a 60*. Never really understood the desire for a straight leading edge as it never looks right when opening the face.

I have gone back and forth between the 60 mid with a heel grind and what the op went with. Been trying to replace a glide ES grind and the selector says to go with the low bounce and I’m afraid the sole is just too narrow for me. I’m steep with my wedges but play in firm fairways.

I went with the full since the effective sole is wider. I haven’t tried it in firm conditions yet, but I’ve had the same grind before and had no issues.

I hit them today and compared against the other leading wedges of this model year. The rtx6 are, in short, amazing. I ordered a 54 bent one degree strong mid bounce and a 58 low bounce. Both in raw because why not.

Would be interested to hear from others who’ve order and are using Tour Rack wedges. What different grind and loft options have you selected? Happy with the results?

Man I'm really happy with my RTX6 upgrade from RTX3. I'm gaming the 50/54/58, and just bought the low bounce 60.

Im a lefty so no tour rack for me, but....

 

In regards to the round leading edge, nothing turns me off more in a wedge than the ugly round leading edge at address.

 

I have hit the rtx6 multiple times (as well as the cbx) and the leading edge is well concealed to me at address and isnt off putting to my eye.  These are incredible wedges from full shots to specialty shots around the green.  They will be high on my priority list after this summer season (no mid-season changes for me).

 

Cleveland hit a home run with this line.
