Why so awkward looking (driver from side)?

Never posted a video before but the game is in a good place now and I am self conscious about what I see here.

 

Am I not clearing the left hip?  My legs look cemented to the ground.  Does the left foot need to point more DTL to get a better turn?  
 

Thanks in advance for your help gents.  My goal is to see if I can eek a few more yards, but I will take any advice!

Awkward looking because you have very little pivot and basically zero weight shift into your lead side so no pressure to use to clear.

What @Rosco1216 said. You're hanging back severely on your right side through impact. Do you have any injury or mobility issues? If no then watch some slow motion YouTube videos of pros face on to see how/where/when they move their lower body. The biggest difference is in how early and heavily pros start using their left side to create rotation in the downswing. You're swinging the club back, sending your weight back, and never getting it forward. Here are a couple shorts from Monte Schienblum (respected instructor here) going over some of the concepts you'll want to understand:

Super helpful.  It's amazing that I am probably leaving a bunch of yards out there.  The swing that is my current driver swing gets me roughly 250 yards.  I need to work on this big time!

Any advice on this - should I see a teacher about this or look online?  I am not injured but usually quite tight in my hips and legs.

@Valtielposted some good videos. As a 5 handicap, that’s up to you if you want to try take on a swing change.  There’s plenty of other videos out there but seeing a qualified teacher might be more beneficial for you.   Simply from your OP and what you’ve said/asked it appears you might not be very well versed in swing mechanics and self diagnosing your swing. No offense as not many are, at least not to their own detriment. 
 

Unless you’re ok with possibly losing your game for awhile which could come with taking on a big swing change, my advice would be to take it on in baby steps. 
 

For example, your lead foot and knee at set up. You’re basically doing with your lead leg what i do with my rear leg if I want to prevent me from swaying away from the target too much on the takeaway.  That inward knee tilt at set up will keep your weight from shifting into it.  Start simple with opening the left foot open towards the target and don’t tilt that knee inward at set up.

This is my exact fear.  I am making it work but with obvious limitations.  Baby steps might be the answer.

I would put the ball further up in your stance toward your left foot. Then you’ll pretty much have to release into the ball and shift your weight forward.
