I wasn't going to say this but since you did I'll agree.

 

We had a similar same thing happen to us a few years ago. We were playing a course that went through the woods.There were plenty of around the corner type holes. Two men and two women ahead of us. We weren't pulling up to the tee box but we were pulling around the corner from the previous green. Usually the men had already teed off so we were waiting and watching the women tee off. One of the guys rides back and claims we are crowding them as the women are teeing off. We explained to them there is a group behind us and we can't wait at the green we have to turn the corner to get out of the way. The guy rides back and I can see him talking to one of the women and I could tell she was upset..

This! As long as OP didn’t lock the brakes and power-slide the cart up to the tee with music on 12 out of 10…..and I am positive that is not what happened.

 

OP did nothing wrong, group in front was speaking out of school.

ps. Kind of a snide remark by me, but truly I would not have an awareness of their position  and simply would not notice if they were standing by a teebox, on a teebox, or behind a tee box. I would have no idea which of those three it was (unless their distance from me made it obvious). 

Yeah I agree. Idc what a group is doing behind me. They can even stand on the tee with me. Makes no difference. I can see how it would bother others
