Should be an exciting Sunday. Ayaka leaked oil, and brought a dozen players into the mix.

Yes please. It just needs to happen once. Although, I would be ok if Amy or Ariya won. But yeah, should be an enjoyable watch tomorrow.

Ariya was +1 after day 1 .. now 2 shots back, impressive!  I would pick her to win but gonna let it ride. What is Buhai.

I typically don't care for the non-golf portions of the TV coverage but I have to admit that I am amused by Tom Abbott eating his way through the food pavilion every year. 

 

One of the tougher tickets in town, definiitely want to do that sometime.

 

I think Janet gets it done today.  She's due.

I would like to know how Lindsey Weaver-Wright has managed to keep herself in the mix.  Seems like every time she's shown on GC -- and it's been a lot lately -- she's missing a short to medium length putt and looking super pissed off.   Show her making some birdies please!

I was afraid he was going to put his sticky hand on the back of the person he was “shepherding” through the food hall!  😳 He really needed someone else to hold the microphone so he could do justice to the food! 😁

Did i hear correctly ... during that Food Pavilion segment 'live' broadcast... did they say the food = "all you can eat" for the price of the LPGA general admission/day-ticket... i.e. at no additional cost?  

 

From a wastage-reduction POV ... presumably it's better to use the same approach as the Masters i.e. sold at nominal cost instead?

Meanwhile Minami Katsu is sneaking up on the leaders. She's new to the LPGA but won a lot of tournaments outside the USA. Don't be surprised to see her move steadily up the CME rankings. 

 

She shot 65 in Round 3.

Not quite accurate.  It's a different ticket than the general admission ticket.  The food pavilion ticket is $85 (including admission), but it is, as I understand it, all you can eat.  Regular grounds ticket is $10.

 

Given that they sell a specific number of food pavilion tickets each day, I suspect they have a pretty good handle on what's needed and the wastage isn't any more than a regular restaurant or something would be.

The LPGA twitter intern = more on-the-ball than the Leaderboard intern? Nope... fair play, the Leaderboard seems to be updated for me?

Very surprised by Ayaka's play. Finished poorly yesterday, and stumbling again today. 

 

Janet takes the lead. Can she hang in there?

No - not at all. The layout of the LET leaderboard is awful. LPGA much better.

 

But it's a fair comment that it needs updating more regularly. There'a significant lag just when things are happening.

The BBC website is often more accurate and that's on a 15 minute lag from live scores.
