Yeah I dont know in what way that was determined. If 904L has a better finish from the mill after being annealed rolled and passivated I guess I can see that mildly but after cutting and shaping from a CNC for post manual polish, you can get a mirror finish from any type of stainless steel and a mirror finish is a mirror finish. Plus they prob do not even polish it to a mirror finish since they just send it out to get some type of deposition film or coating on it.

Do small batch releases hold their value?

I cant pay $1800 for any putter. I might pay $800 for that small batch but that would be my limit for almost any putter. It is very pretty though.

Not always.  Sometimes you need to sit on them to do so.  Tax, license and dealer prep usually you'll have to eat.  Not that I'm a flipper but my experience - you will take a 20%+ bath on them if you end up not liking them.  A couple of them have seemed to increase but its case by case.

I can pay $1800 or more for a circle T, I actually bought one for $3.5K, but in terms of a putter that ill actually use my max is more like $300 lol 😆
