The old "tie" comes into play here. I worry about it, but feel strongly that the 49ers will be this year's Super Bowl champions.  The line is at 9.5 was at ten early and then poof gone a lot of Joe's and some sharps betting the Packers moved it down to 9.5 

The bye came at the right time when all their high-octane players had a chance to heal their bumps and bruises for the past couple of weeks and now take on the red-hot Jordan Love and finally a healthy Aaron Jones one of the most underrated running backs in the NFL. Without a solid run game, Jordan Love is not having all this success even with that fine stable of young pass catchers including their tight end.  

I am a huge fan of Jordan Love, Brock Purdy, and the Unicorn himself Cj Stroud.  The young studs have a chance to be the face of the NFL for years to come joining the ranks of Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Brock Purdy with a full arsenal, Jalen Hurts is descending but give him another year to right the ship, add to that, Jordan Love possibly moving into that top 5. I would love it.  Anyone proving that Aaron Rodgers is a complete tool for not wanting to run Matt LeFleurs offense is fine with me. Now, the Jets are stuck with that idiot.  

If the Niners are upset I think the Jordan Love train will have to have tons of coal in that engine.

Aaron Jones will have to keep the Niners defense on their heels and he is very talented...I will take The Niners -10. (PIP) Pick! I can see this as a push 30-20  The momentum of that Packers win over Dallas has got people taking the ten points moving the line down to 9.5. I will stay with the NIners and CMC for 3 weeks off + Purdy. Jaire Alexander is questionable which means Brandon Aiyuk will be testing him early and often. Taking the Over 49.5 Niners/Packers... The Packers gave up a 30 burger to the Lowly Panthers a few weeks ago.

Purdy won't get very dirty!

 

Houston and Baltimore are the first game of the slate

The Ravens needed the bye. They had some injury issues. Marlon Humphrey and Mark Andrews both banged up 

The Texans might be having a coming-out party if they upset the Ravens on the road.  They are playing with house money and their defense is quite good

Devin Singletary has also outperformed expectations.

That said I picked the Ravens to go all the way. I have been a Lamar Jackson fan for quite some time, so this will be somewhat of a homer pick because I really feel that the Texans can cover in this game, and might be the best chance to upset a number one seed this week Ravens -9.5 I might regret it but that's fine.

Tampa Bay at Detroit. Everyone is on the Goff train. line moved from 6 to 6.5. 

No one gives Baker any trust.  Face it Tampa has played about 500 ball the past 2 seasons.  Tampa lost to Detroit earlier this year.

Tampa kinda lucked into the Philadelphia draw.  They are just not on the right page and the Buccaneers are buoyed by the gutsy inspiring play of Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans.  Their defense seems to be gelling at the right time.  Detroit might be suffering from a little letdown after that emotional WIN!!!!

All that said I sticking with the Lions - 6.5

The best game on the slate this week is the RIvalry we want to see: 

Bills and Bills Mafia vs their arch nemesis Mahomes and the Chiefs on the road.

Unfortunately, their home-field advantage might have cost them healthy bodies.  They were playing on concrete.  Diggs was in pain after making a catch.  Their frozen field is very unforgiving. The Bills are the better team, but injuries matter.  They had to sign a middle linebacker.  

All that said Staying with the Bills -2.5

High school game we had a great play where I faked a sweep to the RB going left and then rolled out to the right side and the RB just kept running down the left sideline and was wide open. Hit him with a 55 yarder right in stride and it bounced off his facemark. 😱 Exact same thing, coach ran it 10 times with that old time projector, stop, rewind, start again and said he couldn't believe Pressly missed a perfect pass 10 times so he could run 10 one hundred yard sprints for every pass he dropped. 🤣

Is like we watchin 🎥 of a kickoff and this one poor kid, he only play on special teams and coach sees him totally spearing on the tackle 😳

 

He freezes it right on the kid with his head leading looking down at the ground and says,

 

Right there! You became a mental midget 🤣

 

Back in JV I played some QB (I wasn’t suited for it, better at hitting people lol) but I ran this one perfect option play. 
I moved down the line and as the RB hits the hole off tackle, I put the ball right in his belly, then in a split second I see the DE is committing to hitting him, so I pull the ball out and run for a TD

 

But I did it so smooth that everyone thought the RB still had the ball, the other teams coach yell “yes!” thinking our RB had the ball and got tackled. Even the RB came up to me like, “I swear I thought I still had the ball”
