Arizona golf trip

I’m going to Arizona in March and I was planning on playing some golf, I’ve never been before so if anyone has recommendations for what to play. I’m going to play 5 rounds, this is what I was thinking. 

WeKoPa (Saguaro)

Quintero

Troon North (pinnacle)

TPC Scottsdale (Stadium)

grayhawk (Raptor)

Those would be towards the top of the list.  However, in March that lineup will run you about $2000 just for the golf.

That’s a solid group. Ak Chin Southern Dunes to replace Quintero though.

I went out to Scottsdale area last March. Enjoyed both WeKoPa courses

Skip Scottsdale, it is such a lackluster layout besides 3 holes and way overpriced. Troon and Grayhawk top tier, Ak Chin I'd vote to replace Scottsdale.

+1 on Ak chin southern dunes. We also really enjoyed greyhawk and wekopa

I think its great that most of the good courses out there have 2 to choose from. If we go again it will be easy to select which ones to play- for us it will be WKP/Cholla, GH/Talon, TN/Pinnacle, Boulders/North, Talking Stick/South, TPC/Champions plus Ak Chin. They are all pretty cool. I would even try to get on the old Vista Verde (now Verde River) but it could be private.

I agree on subbing out something for Southern Dunes.  Great track.   I wouldn't sub out Quintero though, but rather, TPC.  Super overrated IMO

For me We-Ko-Pa Saguaro and Ak Chin Southern Dunes are the two "must play" courses. After those two, many of the others are interchangeable and more "eye candy" than great golf. TPC Stadium is way overpriced.

If it means a ton to you to play TPC Stadium do so I suppose but I personally would skip it and add in Southern Dunes or the other WeKoPa or Troon.

If you're going with a foursome consider buying a Troon Card at least a few weeks out for delivery's sake and then head out to Wickenburg Ranch as well.

I'm guessing that's Wickenburg Country Club.  The last i heard, Wickenburg Ranch went fully private except it remains open to those with a Troon Card.
