Favorite color for lab mezz1 Max head and shaft

Which color did you choose? Happy on your choice?

Platinum with black shaft.  The black head is good too but little scratches are more noticeable.

Red with black shaft. The red pops so much against the green grass and makes it easy to align the front edge. At some point during the Jason Day Spider era, there was marketing saying that studies suggest red helps you focus, increases accuracy and enhances your attention to detail. 

 

I'm also an NC State fan 🐺

My recent Mezz max I sold I thought had a pretty cool color combo. Been a big fan of orange lately.

Mine is red also, for this reason. On the color wheel spectrum red is opposite from green.

I see you went with the SS grip. Did you have it built without shaft lean, or just changed out one of their standard press grips? I’m honestly not crazy about the shaft lean they give you as a standard.

I ordered it with their regular Presse grip but removed it when it arrived. The shaft lean isn't as dramatic as with the DF2.1 so it's not hard to maintain that shaft lean during the stroke. 

 

First round out with it today and I had 27 putts and no 3 putts which is 💪.

Green has only been available on the outlet website and the 2 separate Augusta versions (hunter green DF, kelly green 2.1/Mezz from ‘22).

Sam (LAB CEO) said in a podcast that red is the best color for alignment against green grass. Like you said it just pops. My next Broomstick will be red with a white Accra. ROLL TIDE
