So this is pretty.... disappointing. Really reinforces the 15k all-in GCQ value right now. I don't think a lighter, "more rugged" version with some more obscure data points necessitates +5k.

It's not going to be $1500. (I'm not saying you were suggesting it would be.)

 

I might pay $2500 (it won't be that, either). It'll be $10k or something if they do it at all.

 

I got my Quad in November, and I'm perfectly content with it (except that the backlight doesn't come on when I tell it to, so it'll have to be sent back in for service. Fun!)

Has anybody spoken to a rep since the news dropped? Will it be priced the same as current? Where it's 14k and you purchase additional packages for club and putting data? Or is it just all in one at a higher price?

 

They don't even show anything about pricing on their website, haven't been contacted by a sales rep yet, and haven't seen any video from PGA show mention the price. Only place I've seen a price mentioned is the WRX article.

I asked the rep I bought my GC3 from what the trade in cost would be for a QCQuad and got quoted $10,500. Seems to be a theme now with the GCQuad to the QuadMax.

Spoke to a sales rep. The new max is $20k, no discounts available, and I guess they’re doing away with add ons. So that is club data and putting included.

 

Previous generation quad is being moved to $16k fully bundled.

The Quadmax presale on Foresight's website makes it seem like the club/putting data is an add on and you're getting a GC3 for free. All for $22,499. Couldn't find a standalone Quadmax link yet.

 

I e-mailed foresight, but anyone with more recent info?

 

Tempted to buy the package, since I don't want to wait...

From what I was told when I talked to a rep a few weeks ago, he said the quad max was 20k and that it was only being released with both club and putting data. And that they were essentially getting rid of the add on options, and only offering it fully bundled.

 

Take that for what it's worth. It's the same sales rep that told me they couldn't give me the GC Quad black friday sale a couple days late, only for the next day to rerelease the black friday deal for a limited time. lol

 

 

So to me it's like you're getting a GC3 ball only unit for 2,500.

 

edit- just noticed you quoted my post. where I said what the rep told me. lol I haven't heard anything new on any of the other forums I go on. Would like to get more info as well. I don't think I'd ever use the putting data, so if I could save a couple thousand dollars not having that I'd do it.

Oh brother. That's ridiculous. Just put it all in there. It's just software.

 

And I say that as someone who has sold software for over 25 years. There's value in software, but… this is a $20k appliance.

I’d be curious if there was any difference in readings between the GC3 and QuadMax. Let us know how the max is!

I would think… just as accurate as with a ball, because it's just tracking the maximum speed of the dot in the camera's capture area, I imagine.

I am. I just received the credit back to my account about a week ago for the trade in of my BLP.  Haven't received anything about shipping yet though. Last time I talked to him a little over a week ago he said they were coming in slowly, and that the tour pros were getting theirs first.

Interesting. I have a QuadMAX arriving tomorrow. But… it's an upgraded Quad. So the cameras are probably mine… with a different case, battery, and top part.

If I don't hear anything before Wednesday I'll definitely be reaching out to get an update. I have been seeing more pop up on instagram from the long drive guys and people with big followings. But haven't seen anything on forums of regular people receiving theirs yet. So I'm not too worried yet.

My quadmax arrived today. My rep advised that they would start shipping the week of 4 Mar, when I asked 26 Feb.
