Ping Hoofer Lite Squeaking

When I walk, I hear a squeaking sound. I believe it’s coming from the plastic buckles. Similar to an issue I had on a Stitch SL2 bag. Has anyone had this issue? If so, what was the fix to make it better?

My hoofer lite doesn't squeek, but my old ping bags did only when those plastic buckles were broken

Yes, it squeaks. No fix that I'm aware of. Maybe a little WD-40 would help.

Yeah. It is new. I have only walked 9 holes with the bag. Perhaps it may lessen over time…

Mine is starting to develop a squeak lately, but I haven't been able to isolate where it’s coming from.

My is coming from the buckle that is attached to the lead shoulder strap.

I have over 100 rounds on my HL, and it still squeaks. 'Don't think it's going to go away.

Well. Good thing it’s a great bag. I can deal with the squeak.

I took some of the stitch golf bag lube and put it on the ping buckle and the squeaking is gone. I don’t know what the lubricant they provide is, but know that it works really well.

Which buckle? The center crossover or the vertical adjustment buckles?

Mine is the buckle that attaches to the primary strap that is close to the zipped on the large panel pocket.

After some digging I found out that this is the lubricant that is provided by Stitch. This is also what I used on my Ping bag and Stitch bags to stop the squeaking.

I’ll have to give this a shot. I just use one strap and noticed the squeak when it is attached to the buckle attached to the internal strap (large pocket side). I switched to the other buckle and the squeaking stopped, but the balance was different so that the stand leg was pressing against my back below the pad. It seems like you found the best solution - thanks for sharing.
