I asked this on his last WITB but why does he drill out the ports on the back of the wedges? I thought whatever is in there on the stock wedges was essentially weightless?

He removes weight down low but then adds it back with lead tape up high. It moves the COG causing a lower ball flight.

Yeah I understand that but I thought those ports were drilled out in the factory for that reason and they just put some weightless material in there so it’s not open.

Looks like there are actually different materials based on color differences in the plugs. Perhaps some heavier material in the toe to offset the weight in the hosel to have a more geometrically centered CG?

It was previously the Max. Only assuming that is still the case.

Max LS, I’m all but certain. Wunder blog says Max, but the face-on picture is a Max LS.
