WRX staff writer is not incorrect, it is a timing issue. During the tournament week, Wyndham went through many putter heads/grip combos before settling on the one he used at Pebble. The pictures taken was from a putter he already had in his bag.

Timing or not, It's not the winning WITB if the info is incorrect.

They did have the White/Black one, very briefly it appears.  I had the original claw grip which was the longer length, I had been looking for a grip this shape for the past several months

Were you fit into the right length and weight? I see it too often where someone will try something without getting it set up for them and dislike it and left with a bad taste about the product. Counter balanced only works when it is done right for you.

Not the same grip. Then Wyndham is using is much shorter than 17".

He's definitely gone shorter compared to the last jailbird he had.

 

Almost looks standard length.

I’m thinking he’s down around 36 inches with this current one but could be wrong with that. He’s holding this grip basically at the top and with the 17 inch he was choked down but not all that much certainly much less than Fowler.

Wyndham Clark’s winning US Open Odyssey was the exact specs as Ricky Fowler’s and Lucas Glover’s winning LAB Mezz Max was the exact specs as Adam Scott’s.

Wish i didn't miss this grip, its the new Zenergy version of the claw that came out like 10 years ago, great grip for a normal length counterbalanced option.

 

Hopefully they put some more on the site soon

It's not.  It will def counterbalance your putter some which could be a great thing for you. We've obviously seen the success on tour.   It's 13" so, it's not overly extreme like a 17".  I just purchased one and can't wait to put it on the  A.I Milled two I have coming.  It's standard 35"

 

It's worth mentioning that Wyndham is a pretty tall guy.  He allegedly is playing 35.75
