2nd swing just got a big shipment in of new and used putters. I think 550-650.

I'm pretty sure they bought all the putters on the outlet site intended for customers.  Lame

Sucks because I was considering buying one of the blemished models for $400.  Not going to do business with 2nd Swing for them.  Pass

They did indeed wipe out the outlet site if you look at it now there's almost nothing on there.

Does anyone know if cutting down a broomstick affects swing weight the same way that it does on a standard putter?

Can’t cut lab’s. Messes with the lie angle balance. Part of the reason these things are so spendy they hand balence every putter.

Cutting it will definitely affect swingweight in the conventional sense of the word. The rule of thumb that gets chucked around in the FB is that you can take about a 1/2" inch off before you start to mess with the lie angle balancing of it.

you'll have no issue on a broom with swing weight.  Use the same model grip to avoid issues with balance.

Here's where I'm at - about 96% certain I want a DF3 broomstick. No previous experience for that style. With the success LAB has had with that model, the volume of orders, and their honesty about it, I can accept waiting a bit longer for the long putter. It would be great to have early in the season sure, but I'm happy for them. Whenever I do get it I hope it exceeds expectations which are already high.

I am right there with you. I have been practicing with a used face-the-hole putter for a while and am convinced of the broom idea. I have been a lab stan for a while and have a TPT + Mez Max already...I am set on a df3 broom and just counting down the launch now.

Finally!  Order for my Capuccino Mezz Max Broomstick has moved to "In Production".  Sweet and cannot wait.  Rd 1 here in Ontario starts this Wednesday absent this beauty, but here's hoping ship happens later this week.  Anybody experience on ETA once "In Production"?

Alright Broomstick users, with regards to the Accra shaft, what amount of flex is felt when making a stroke?

 

I've had some longer steel shafts that have a noticeable flex when swinging and I'm curious if that's similar with the graphite broomstick. Say 1 is like a senior flex shaft, definitely felt, and 5 is like a steel rod, with no feeling of flex, where might it fall?

I have a Mezz Max broom in a 45” shaft and I absolutely feel the flex/reverb on longer putts. I’ve been debating sending it in to get the TPT shaft but I might just wait for the DF3 broom to roll out since I like the feel and head shape of a DF3 much more than the Mezz (I have a normal length DF3 because I have a problem…).

Recent convert. Snagged a Mezz 1 Max broomstick over the weekend. 41' / 79.5 lie / Heavy. Got acquainted a little bit on my putting green at home. I took it out yesterday at the course on an actual putting green and oh my goodness.. I am speechless this thing is money!

How big is the minority that swing the putter with the right hand(setup for righty’s) instead of rocking the shoulders? 
 

I’ve gone back and forth but the feeling of keeping the shaft centered to the body using the right hand to “roll the ball” is more accurate. Might help if you’re feeling uncomfortable when starting out

I actually started with my low hand low Like a normal putter grip and switched to low hand claw and bent because it was too tempting to swing with my arms like a normal putter...after making the change I have seen much more consistency.

Any of you guys switch to the broom because it's hard to practice? I have a 33.6" putter and I'm pretty good at putting, but I can never practice more than 10 minutes at a time.

 

Thinking that a broom would allow a more upright position (not the Adam, more Bernhart).

 

Any experience? As everyone is saying, this isn't chump change.

I too have or had trouble practicing for longer than 15-20 minutes due to a bad back. The brook stick has really helped relieve some stress there. I was Langer style and keep cutting mine down for Scott style.  The other important stress it has relieved is my score. Dramatically improved my scores right away. Anyone questioning the cost should rethink their bag. Same cost as a driver, but you use a putter more and has more to do with lower scores and the enjoyment of the game.

I would like to add that putters dont get "outdated" by modern tech quite as easy, meaning that you can play it for longer.

Well said. I have had my DF2.1 Broom for two years. NEVER had a putter or any club this long. My wife said she will burry me with it😳

My DF 2.1 has been in my bag since the start of 2021. While I consider switching to (or at least trying) a DF3 broom, there is absolutely no need to. I just would like to try a broom and get rid of the huge head which takes up to much space in my bag😄 only fair criticism of that putter in my opinion. I've even come as far as liking how weird the thing is
