What’s your fairway finder 3w? I need inspiration.

3 wood off the tee is for staying short of trouble, not avoiding trouble on the sides.

Even then with today's 3 woods a well struck ball can go nearly driver distance.

This is the main reason I switched to TSR3 from Stealth Plus. I wanted a little extra spin/control instead of a 3 wood that goes 300 yards.

Reading through this thread and that's what I came here to say. I have a 2nd, higher lofted driver that I pull for more control. Granted I don't seem to have the same speed as OP, but it does what I got it for, and it's a good safety blanket for when the main driver swing is off.

I'll also say, I haven't made it a shorter shaft and added weight, the loft difference gives me the gap I need.

Funny, I just put my stealth + 3w head on a 5w shaft. I’ve only hit it a couple times. Turned up 2*. I’m intrigued but haven’t hit enough on course to report.

My current fairway finder is a new TSR2 10* set at A1. Using the hazardous red cb 50 its just so stupid easy to hit.

I've had a lot of success with TaylorMade Mini Drivers as a backup option off the tee going all the way back to the OG SLDR S.

BRNR 11.5 has been in the bag since August and it replaced a 300 that had been in the bag for a year or two.

I've been gaming the Aeroburner 3W since 2016. I tried to replace it with "upgrades" twice (M6, Sim2) but I keep going back to ol' trusty. I did make the mistake of letting my 15yo nephew borrow it at the driving range once; and two swings in, he put a giant dent on the bottom of the clubhead. Nevertheless, it remains permanently in my bag... (haven't noticed any performance issues but it did lose a little bit of the satisfying sound it once had)
