Recos on low spin drivers that want to turn over

Would love to hear from ppl on low spin driver heads that want to draw.  I have been having a terrible time hitting a draw with the driver lately and want to make a change equipment wise.  Something adjustable would be nice to move the weight but has to be low spin.  Dark speed comes to mind but I haven’t tried any of the new stuff really.  Thanks!

Ai Smoke Max. Practically identical spin window to the TD, but not as fade biased.

Awesome thanks, what was your spin while testing on Launch monitors for both?  I don't think I ever considered the Max but will look at it now

I found the Qi10 to be easy to turnover and it's mid-low spin.  You can always play a lower spinning ball to further keep spin down.  Dark speed is easy to turnover and doesn't spin up too much.  AI Smoke MAX is another good one that @bcflyguy1mentioned but it spun just a touch more than the AI Smoke TD I have and is more neutral bias.

Black Ops 8 degree with loft turned up a bit and weight in the heel should be pretty draw biased and lower spin

I have a Paradym TD 10.5 and it fits this description pretty well.

Standard Aerojet head is the only one I’ve found in the last 3 years and that doesn’t want to go right all the time.   I went though 3 standard heads before I found one that I liked

Ping 10k, 2200-2400 spin for most people it seems, I have a MLM2pro and with the dotted balls, I average 2300 spin. I find it wants to go straight or slight draw. Ive played a fade the last few years and in order for me to fade, I have to try.

Regular version yeah?  Not interested in LS based on what I’ve read it doesn’t fit most

My friend was hitting beautiful high draws with that head this weekend.  Actually prompted the post

I agree with this. It's a very workable driver that can have a draw or fade bias depending on how you setup the adapter.

Maybe try one of the 440/450cc heads with some led tape on the heel? If you're okay with waiting, rumor is the AI Smoke triple diamond Max is coming to retail at some point and it's supposed to be easier to turn over than the standard triple diamond. Don't forget to try a more upright setting on your current driver if it has a hosel setting for it.

When considering low spin, you want a deeper faced driver. They'll make it easier to hit a lower spinning drive.

 

Though, if this is a "lately" issue, I'd be more inclined to take a look at my dynamic lie. What setting are you using on your driver?

I'd recommend a standard spinning head with a low spinning shaft, that's the easiest way you can achieve what you're looking for I think

 

I play the TSR2 for example, which is reasonably low spin (I don't think it's any lower than a standard Smoke AI or Qi10), and I keep a Graphite Design VF shaft which I use when I'm playing on a course or in conditions where I want an especially low spin/flight

Yeah im considering this to be fair.... currently in OG stealth (not plus) with ventus TR blue.  Considering swapping heads with QI10

You can always give the Mizuno ST-G a try, plenty of adjustability. I also really liked the ST-Z, but the Z can spin up at times.

Last time I did a Driver fitting - granted in 2020, the only one of the low spin models I could get to turn over reliably was the TS4, so I'd suggest a TSR4 if you haven't tried one yet. 

 

It's still in my bag now if that helps at all.
