Changed driver again from the masters, seems like he's really looking for something.

 

Qi10 core rocket 3w is sick though.

One of the members posted that he had an injury when he switched to the Qi10 MAX - Diamana GT 50TX at the beginning of this year.  I noticed he was hitting a lot of low cuts with his current setup at the Masters.

I wonder why he is using p730s instead of his own badged blades? Interesting that Rory, DJ, and Collin keep playing the P730 when there are newer versions available.

I train a tour pro and he says that his peers/tour pros in general play what look good to them and are comfortable with as long as long as the club does what they need it to do.

Interesting. Makes sense, a blade is a blade and you have to like/be confident with whatever you play. Just highlights that at higher levels at least, all the club design refinements don't make that big a difference.

Are there special conformity tests for irons? I know Bryson had to have his confirmed before Augusta but the prototype 4-iron for Collin and Rory immediately went into the bad.

Rocket Adjustable Core Qi10 Fairway would be an instant purchase for me.  After hitting both the Tour and "Core" heads, I much prefer the "Core".  I told the Taylormade rep that if he would sell me the adjustable Core fitting head, I'd buy it on the spot.  Throw in a Rocket model and it has a chance to replace the Stealth + Rocket model I have played for a bit.  The new adjustable weight garage model of the Stealth 2 + and Qi Tour just don't feel as good to me.
