Sonartec's got you covered. I like the SS-07, bendable hosel for lie adjustments, square face, and a great ball flight. The face depth is right inbetween the 2.5 (shallow) and 3.5 (deep faced). If you want to hit it higher, go with a 16* 4 wood like I've got. The only thing is you've got to go to a Sonartec certified clubfitter to get the 07 though, but that's kind of a blessing since you don't have to pay for an ill fitted shaft (like the buggy whip tour platform that comes standard).

Of these fairway woods, which one in yalls mind would have the highest trajectory and is the most forgiving. I mainly just use it off the deck. Cleveland launcher comp or steel, R7 steel, R7 tp, Callaway X or Fusion. Thanks for the help

The Launcher Comp has the shallowest face and lowest center of gravity so it will go the highest.

TM 200 tour

Ditto. One of the all time best fairway woods, and they're getting cheap on Ebay.

I picked up a 17 degree smooth top 200 tour for less than 125 a year ago, but it had a steel shaft. When I pulled the shaft, it was an unweighted TM head, probably sold as excess inventory. It didn't have the small white plastic plug at the bottom of the hosel. I hot melt weighted it up to 216 grams or so. It's a fantastic four wood with the right shaft. And it looks great at address.

I had two woods in my bag last year. A 14 Sonartec SS03 with an x flex 869, D5 at 42.5 and the 200 Tour with an X flex Pro 95, D5 at 42. The trajectories were entirely different, but I could carry them both almost exactly the same distance. I hit 20 balls one day on a short slightly up hill par 4 at my home course, and finally decided to carry one or the other of them, depending on the wind and course. If I needed high and long, I'd go with the 200. If I needed a second tee shot option, or if the course was shortish, I'd carry the ss03. But the 200 tour essentially got booted out by a 17 Nickent 3Dx, which is more versatile, slightly shorter and can carry 230 to 240 if I really hammer it. If it's dry, it's the only other wood I carry.

I agree with many of the above. Go see if you can get your hands on a few to demo.

I am sort of in the same market (Again!!!) but would definitely look at:

1) Nike Sasquatch 3-wood. I have been told its fairly square....who knows, havent seen it yet.

2) R7 TP

3) Callaway X Tour 3-woods.

4) MIzuno FX50

5) Titleist 904F

I know the Sonartec is a great club, but since I tend to be a bit of a digger, these dont perform that well due to the different type of leading edge on these.

Have fun!!!
