2009 Srixon Z-TX Forged cb's and new Ztx 3 wood Pics!!!

I'll try them! I have a set of 701's and a set of the I-506's

I've sold enough sets of irons by playing with guys who hit a shot or two with my set that Srixon should really consider sending me a commission check!

The I-506's are a must hit if you like forged irons imho!

Really like the topline look of the wood and irons. Can't wait for the driver. However, couldn't care less for those graphics in the cavity and sole.

I think these are some of the nicest looking irons being released. Srixon has done a nice job. I've played the i-701's & really liked them. Can't wait to try these out. Only problem will be finding a shop that carries them.

An absolutely perfect top-down visual blend from the hosel to the leading edge with the irons - the hosels on titleist irons are starting to get a little beefy for me.

the irons look great but it looks like they F...ed up another PW They need to stop iron sets at the 9 iron. Maybe I'll get to hit these in a month or so.

Irons look nice. Any word on if they will release a more forgiving version ala the 701 vs. the 701 Tour's?

Oh Bother, the irons caught my eye then I noticed that tacky ZTX medallion (one poster commented on the K-mart look ) - hope it can be removed without changing the weight or feel.

Other than that looks like good heel toe weighting and hopefully a less diggy sole than the 701.

PS - Wish every club had the X-20 Tour sole on them (I'm a driver/digger)

The Srixon webside is updated, but with no details and old custom info. Hope Srixon will ad more infos about the ZTX line.

I think the new Z-TX irons have a great potential to kick my MP-62 out of the bag. From the describtion a perfect blend of feel, performance and forgiveness. The Srixon-staffers like these irons.

I'm playing I-701's now, and I think that the MP62 will kick those out of the bag. Don't think I've hit an iron that felt like that in my life. The ZTX's do look pretty mean though.

Held all the new Srixon stuff today. The Hybrid looks ok, no more, no less. The Driver looks good. Reminds me of the Japanese XXIO hard spec I had for a while, lovely shape, but quite long heel to toe. The iron's look great. Very impressed with the look of these, and I'm looking forward to trying them. But the 3 wood looks perfect. Beautiful round shape, reasonable height face, and perfectly square. think Sonartec with a hint more bulge and roll. Can't wait to try it.

What´s the stock shaft of the irons?

The stock shaft on the irons is the DG S300 or R300

Nippon is the stock shaft in Japan

That makes sense, the irons shipped to the UK probably come direct from Japan, which comes stock with the lighter Nippon shaft, the true test will be to see what the std length is on the UK irons. The US and JDM irons have different head weights to accomodate the longer standard length in the US and heavier shafts and still keep the D2 swing weight.

Hello Dan,

On Srixon-US-webside are the same length as JDM. 5i=37.75 and PW=35.25 (which is pretty short). Is this a mistake?

And how long last a custom order. In December I´m only 14 days in Florida and the Z-TX irons are on my wishlist. I hope Srixon will handle custom orders within 14 days incl. shipping.
