Here is the new Cleveland Launcher DST Driver!!! Dont know much about it but I think it looks great. Thoughts?
Looks like shite. Sorry, but the current Launcher is so much better. I also like the U-shaped weight thing of the current model.

This DST looks like a test design to me, not a final product. Horrible.

Who designs theses clubs? This club is hideous. I don't understand, aesthetics are as important as anything and this club is bad. I don't care how it performs, it looks cheap and rushed.

hold off judgement until you see it in person. At address this driver is very classic looking, all black crown, pear shape. Very traditional.

Plus this is the best sounding driver I have heard in a long time.

When is it coming out? Is it geared towards better players since it is shaped like the Titleist 909 D3 and Ping I15 (from what I can see in these pictures)? And will it have an adjustable head?

Saw a test engineer hitting this on the range. He was probably a 25 handicap and couldn't find the center of the face in the 3 or 4 shots I watched him hit.

Will there be a 2* open face option? A great thing Cleveland has right now is the choice it give consumers for open, square and closed faces.

I just don't get you people with caring what the bottom of a club looks like. Who cares? With that said, it does look cheap and ALL of my clubs are much prettier! :D

Don't knock it til you try it! ;)

How do you know that the current launcher is so much better? You can't base it off of the picture? Obviously that there has to be something better about the driver then the current launcher? You can't base your opinion solely off of the looks of the sole?

Because I hit the shite out of my Launcher 9, the most accurate driver I've ever used.

I was purely talking about the cosmetics, not about the performance - but the looks are part of helping you with the confidence.

I was hoping, that with Cleveland being a part of Srixon, that Cleveland wouldn't go back to this throwback type of design but move forward with new looks and styles.
Original poster seems odd, 1 post for a new driver from Cleveland.. anyways it does not look great from the pics but if it works I would play it. Looks mean nothing to me as long as it is long!!!
Good catch - noticing that the OP is the first ever post from "Cleveland Golf Fan".

Makes me a little bit suspicious.

Where did he ( or she) get the picture?

Maybe we are all being used, unknowingly, as a focus group for a proposed new club offering?

Here is a free hint: the baby blue graphics don't help.

the shaft is some version of a Diamana Red Board that is 45 grams at 45 1/2 long stock from the factory. This allows Cleveland to make the club heavier there by increasing swingspeed.

There will be a tour head offered that is smaller at 430 cc's or so and is 2 degrees open. The shaft will also be heavier.

Hibore Monster is out for this year

Does Cleveland really give you the option of opening the face? I wish I knew that- the Launcher feels so easy and very powerful to hit, but I could not look down at the closed face compared to other drivers. I already got a Cobra recently.
that does look low budget, or like a senior or woman specific club
That is what I though, women's club. Now if that info about a 45g shaft is true then I really think this is not geared for the G WRX crowd. :scare2:

Did they keep the "sonic pill" alignment aide? :black eye:
