Hook machine aka a "hybrid"

Which retail version hybrid will be the ONE
Like a few people that have commented here before, I constantly fight hooking my hybrids. Had the Baffler DWS, then the TWS, now I have the G15. Still hooking. So which hybrid is easy to hit straight and isn't prone to going left?

I know there have been a few threads about this before, but I am asking specifically about retail heads and shafts. I don't want some tour version with some exotic shaft. I just want to be able to go to the store, grab one stock (hopefully out of the used bin) and be done with it. I really want to avoid having to go on a wild goose chase trying to find some tour-issued version...

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Love the way it looks. Doesn't seem to be too forgiving though... but I'll give that a try, thanks.

I'd say the PNT2, 909H or my favorite so far is the 09 Rescue TP cranked all the way open with a Diamana Thump 103x tipped. :)

If you want a hybrid that doesn't hook get the Adams Tour Issue Peanuts version 1 or 2. Mesmorize has these in the For Sale Forum. Justin is a great guy to work with. I've hook every stinking hybrid I've every played with. Granted many shots were fantastic but they were all hook prone and cost me some big strokes at the wrong time-especially on par 5's and long par 4's. Not so w/ the Peanuts. They are heavily fade biased. I have 3 peanuts right now (24, 20, 16). Worth every cent since I always play for money with my buddies. The Speedline Classics are neutral and come a close second. The Peanuts have transformed my long game.

Thanks for all the responses guys! I just got back from the store that had a driving range next to it and demo'ed a few hybrids (i15, 909h, Adams pro black, Adams a7, and my G15 as the control).

Adams Pro Black - Looks awesome. Very very small profile. Hit a couple of great shots with it but also a couple of very very bad shots with it. As much I wanted to like it, I think it's too demanding of a club - by no means is it like a 3 iron but I would like to have more forgiveness out of my hybrids.

Adams a7 - Not bad but the dispersion seemed too large for my liking.

i15 - Face feels much more lively to me than my G15. But I still managed to put too much draw on it than I would like. I'd probably hook this one on the course.

909h - And we have a winner! I liked that it sets up open. Dead straight for me and I actually even hit a couple of fades with this one. I'm also used to the Diamana BB as I have the 909D2 and 909F2 with the BB shafts. Hopefully this one stays in the bag for a while.....
Gosh, I've got a baffler DWS 3... straightest club I've got. I do play it in the middle of my stance. Looking for a DWS 5 now. Did you see anything different in the DWS vs TWS?
I liked the feel of the TWS better than the DWS. The TWS head has a nice "click" to it at impact.

a rescue 09 tp cranked two open is probable the best bet to fight the hook

I fixed the same problem with a Rescue TP. Just set it up "open" and it worked great.
bridgestone j33 hybrid, very cheap and extremely easy to hit. I don't think I have ever hit a hook with mine no matter how hard i tried.
I will vote the J33 hybrid as the most anti-left club I've ever played. I bagged one for about 3 years. It is just hard to hit a draw at all with it, I would call them definately fade biased. My stock shot was about a 5-10 yard fade. I still have it, I've just about worn the face off of it, but I'm not getting rid of it... I always thought the average weekend hacker would hate them because they were the opposite of 95% of the hybrids out there

Most hybrids for my are also massive hook machines. I'm currently bagging 2 adams pro hybrids. They are neutral IMO, I can work them a bit left and right. The J33, I just couldn't seem to hit a draw hardly ever with it.......maybe one out of hundred........

Move up a flex in the shaft you've been playing....Just about every club mentioned above is a worthy Hybrid--just get the right flex shaft and if you seem to be over-powering your normal flex---try something stiffer.

Just played a round with my new Titleist 909h's (21* and 24*) and I am very very pleased to say - not one single hook! Straight all day long. I was so confident with them that by the time I got to hole 18, which is a par 5, I went for the green with my my second shot (over water) with my 21* and stuck it within 15 feet. MONEY! Highly recommended for those who fight the hooks. After struggling with the DWS, TWS, and the G15's the past couple years, I've finally found keepers... amen.
