Tried a bunch of serial numbers from wooden Pings and none of them are in the data base (Google images gives you lots of numbers). Some were tied to iron sets but nothing listed for drivers. Have to assume that they didn't put the woods into the system.

Because often it is not open during the time you want/need to know the info. Especially if you are wanting to bid on something.

 

I get it that people are just plain lazy sometimes and sometimes they are just asking because they think it novel or something fun to do (esp. when they bought the damn club new from an authorized Ping dealer 10 years ago -or yesterday- and they want to see what comes up at Ping), but I've got a lot of free time on my hands, so I (and others) can help them out.

 

Doesn't even hold a candle to the banality of the 512 pages in the "Blade Users Thread (no debating clubheads)" which could have been killed 400+ pages ago.
