Miura CB-202, just prettier

I just wanted to share some pictures of my new irons. Enjoy! :rolleyes:

I've only seen the On/Offs with the squares in the cavity; I dug those, but these are straight up dope. Silly dope. Ill dope.

Nice.. had all three of the near tripets..

Nike splits proto, CB247's and 202's. and that is my order of preference as well.

Much more likely that Miura did the forgings for Onoff

Seeing as Miura doesn't have a forgery I doubt that. Miura out sources their forgings.

I've never hit the splits but I agree with 247s over 202s.

My understanding is Miura forged these for Onoff which I believe is Diawa.

When we got 10 sets of the initial run of CB247's about a year earlier then they were for sale on that other golf site, they were in "Prototype" form, straight from the OnOff "Tour" section. We were told they were Miura forged. The seller "DivotWRX" had one of those 10 initial sets. I know he's also got a set of the Nike Split Cavity Proto's as well.

And yes...D[b]ai[/b]wa is the parent company of OnOff...like Beres is to Honma, the OnOff line was to attract the younger customer.

I just bought a set of heads of these. What is the shaft needed? Hard to find details. I assume a taper .355 but want to know from you the experts!

congrats! i also made an offer for the heads, apparently not good enough:)

i think it is taper .355. most JDM heads are.
