I use a Hogan CFT 2h with stock stiff graphite. Also use a 56.10 Colonial wedge- 75 yds in, it's money- bunkers, tight lies, flop, etc. Pulled the 60.06 TM rac wedge because the Hogan spins much better.

I comfortably and reliably play CFT Hybrids in place of fairway woods and long irons. The 2i is my "go to" club when I have to be in the fairway. I've had limited success with the Hogan Tour Deep ball, finding it shorter, on average, than the HX Tour and ProV1 I regularly play.

I hit the Hogan 3 wood at a recent Demo Day and was VERY impressed. I tried it on a whim, and it really did surprise me.

I play Hogan Apex irons with Tour Concept shafts and love them...not a better feeling iron on the market..all right so I'm blowing smoke on that one..but I really like them and after the reshaft have no desire to switch to anything else.. :lol:

Well, I get in this old thread. My Hogan forged GCDs finally wore out after 15 years, but I am still gaming my Hogan 3 hybrid. Its a money club.

I got a set of Hogan Apex Plus irons and a set of '99 Hogan Apex blades that have been played with about 6 times. I almost hate to hit those 99s because they are such amazing blades (not to mention I have Adams CB2s that are way more forgiving)

Apex 50 blades and a colonial 56/12 sand wedge. I personally love Hogan equipment. I hate that Cally killed the brand. It was a sad day in golf history.

I picked up a set of Apex Edge Pros earlier this year. Absolutely the softest GI clubs I have ever hit. I really like them but wish they had a modern sole grind (ala MP-53's). They are doing battle with my 53's for a spot as my back up set.

I played Hogan irons for 16 years between 1994 and 2010. It's such a shame that Callaway killed the brand. I needed to switch to softer shafts so I went with Mizuno MX-300s last year.

If Callaway would revive the brand I would certainly look at going back. But for the moment I think Mizuno is the way to go. They will quickly and accurately do custom specs, including swingweights, and with no upcharge.

Callaway, please bring the Hogan name back to the game of golf!!!!

When my game is off I always end up putting the Apex back in the bag to get back that confidence. Dammed if I know why I keep looking for something better

I'm still playing a set of Ben Hogan H40 w/ Apex 3 Shafts. I bought them off a friend in like new condition with the original grips (which I haven't replaced - I guess I superstitious about replacing them). I have thought about replacing this irons here recently, but can't bring myself to do so. I really wish that Callaway wouldn't have bought the Ben Hogan Brand, in doing so, they have let the brand die, which is sad.

I would imagine they will revive it when the economy turns around...if it does...
