did I find a jewl or what?

I found this today, and the star between Pro V1 and 392 hinted me to think its some sort of tour ball or some sort of low run ball. What exactly is it and is there a price someone could put on it? Its been used, but still a neat find. To think I was about to put my markings on it too!

I wish i had better news for you, but it is a retail ball. It was produced 3-4 years ago, i still have a couple dozen of them laying around.

 

They where not very popular, and only lasted one season then they were gone.

Yep, Diamond is rare, they were rumored that they were to be released on the public, but never made it, nice piece or Titleist history you have there Mr. Pinchy.

I also have one of those Pro V1 Diamond balls and its the softest ball ive ever seen! I'm not sure how much its worth but it looks pretty!

The ProV1 stars were supposed to be the ProV1x but it turned out that they spun more than the ProV1.

What do you think the Diamonds would run a sleeve? I have 2 sleeves and looking to get rid of.....the Spin Milleds dont like them too much

How come the Pro V1* was so short lived? I loved that ball! I found one the other day and it just fits me perfectly for some reason. LOL

I agree. I liked that ball too then they stopped making it. So I had to switch to the X.

Ditto...it's still my favorite of the Pro V1 series (though I admit I prefer red numbers).

I love the Pro V1*, I made my first eagle with it when I holed out from 100 yards!

Don't want to bust any bubbles, but VJ didn't play the diamond. It spins way more than the original ProV. A good friend of mines wife plays LPGA, and that ball was made for the ladies tour. Probably why it feels so soft though!
