New V1 large price increase

Can someone at Titleist explain the 15% price hike on the new V1? UK rock bottom discount will be £40 a doz, or $60+. Old ball was £34-35 a doz tops. Bit steep methinks....

There is no price increase in the states. Saw them yesterday at Dick's for the same price as the old ones before they got discounted.

You sure thats actual pricing? Titleist.com always has jacked up pricing on the balls--currently about $60 I think--but every store sells them for less.

Titleist shows the MRSP on their site. It is always higher than the retail price. No different than any other company or industry.

The new Pro V1 is retailing for $45.99 in the US like it has been for years.

Yeah, $45.99 here... Lowest I've ever bought them was $34 a dozen.. But that place has since lost their Titleist account for doing so.

I heard there would be a price hike, but I havent' seen it. $58 MSRP still from Titleist.

Bit of profiteering going on in the UK by the look of this!! I hope the price settles down after the initial launch. TM tried the same price hike with the Penta after the TPs and it had to knock them down double pronto.
