Thank you for all your hard work! This has been a fantastic year for tournament coverage at GolfWRX. We've been really gettting some great stuff.

 

By the way, that Bettinardi with the copper insert looks really sweet and it's nice to see a lot more Hi Bore's in the bags. :D

Unfortunately, I didn't get to play in the pro-am. A couple of members at my club were able to though. And yes, Ernie was hitting the ball a country mile. 63 in the pro-am on Wednesday.

She ran the pictures for the pro-ams. I'll tell you that the pics don't do her justice. My friend (Sigmat) had to slow me down because I was focusing more on her than I was the players.

Bubba Dickerson. Not sure about retail. I think that the other bag that you are talking about is Rich Beem's. From what I could see, they were the Hogans he was playing earlier in the year. I probably screwed up when I sent the pics because I had them ordered so that player shots were first and the bag shots came after. My bad boys.

Yeah, I was thinking exactly the same thing. I'm quite certain that it is O'Meara's bag, but I couldn't make out which model Ping it was.

 

Norman has always had beautiful irons no matter who his sponsor was. Those new MacGregor custom grinds are no exception. Some of the nicest looking MacGregors I have ever seen.

 

Somebody, anybody, tell us what Olazabal is putting with. Is it a Cameron Napa? An old Wilson? Something else?

I can tell you that it wasn't a Napa. It was difficult to see because the putting green sits 4 feet above path.

Jose is using a Bobby Grace proto with HSM insert and copper tungsten weights in the sole (heel-toe).

I wish they would release the one peice solid, tour only M675 blade like Norman/Jose play to the public. I understand the benefits from hollow long irons for the average guy and I think the design is revolutionary but c'mon, we're talking about tour blades here.

Interesting to see Wishon Golf moving for tour usage. Putters looked nice, couldn't really see the hybrid. That would interest me.

Those look like one of the proto sets I saw at callaway. They have a few new forgings they are playing with. If they produce a true blade and more traditional cavity back I don't know what will happen to Hogan.

I missed the tourney this year, despite living only 2 miles away. Had free tickets for all 4 days too. Yesterday I contemplated going, but I am so busy I don't get much time to play, so I hit the range for 2 hours and then gave a lesson to a 6 year old I am working with. I work for an architect doing custom homes, and we have done many houses in Castle Pines, and probably 10 or so are right on the golf course. Hope to play it later this year.
