Slotline clubs

worth anything

I have an old set of Slotline Inertial irons and woods and I was just wondering if they were worth anything. Slotline isn't in the PGA value guide. I guess they are from the late 80's.

I also have a Slotline Inertial "Big Mo" putter. These were my first "real" golf clubs when I was in high school. Before that I had Spaulding Executives and some other starter set. I found them all in my basement and I was just wondering if they had any real value.

Unfortunately ........NO!! Just another old set of clubs.........probably worth more for your own nostalgic feelings than anything.

I just disposed of a full set of Walter Hagen Ultras last year....1-2-3-4 woods and 2-PW with a putter and a bag...all in 8.5/10 condition with original grips and all......... found the original bill of sale in the bag too!! I got $50 for the lot because I found a guy who is MAD for anything that has "Hagen" on it.

Enjoy them...they must have some sentimental value

That is kind of what I figured. I really wasn't planning on getting rid of them anyway. I still have them in the Sun Mountain carry bag I bought at the same time. It has a "Nevada Bob's" bag tag on it.

I had just found a Big Mo1 driver by Slotline. Cant find any information at all on it. "carbon faced power driver" says on club. Its got a carbon fiber face on it.
Any help at all would be appreciated!

I am reviving this very old thread to share with you my Slotline experience.

 

When I started playing golf about 1990, Slotline Golf was around.  One of the first putters I bought was a Slotline Intertial High Moment putter.  At the time I read somewhere that Walter Travis won the British Amateur with the center-shafted "Schenectady" putter, so I decided to give a center-shafted putter a try.  I made a lot of putts with it.  As time went on I gradually shifted to Anser-style putters and today that is mostly what I have, and the center-shafted putter has a totally different feel to it.  It is fun to go back to that putter from time to time, but I fear wrecking my putting stroke.

 

I was building a set of clubs and I needed some S300U shafts.  Instead of buying new shafts I decided to buy an old set and pull those shafts.  I found on eBay this set of Slotline Intertial II irons and just before I pulled those shafts I decided to play a casual round with those clubs.  They are not very pretty clubs, but they are so easy to play with.  Despite the offset in the long irons I hit so many good shots with those clubs I decided to keep the set.

I don't know what happened to the company after Dynamic Brands bought them in 2007.

Some meaty soles on those irons.

Good article, Slotline advertised heavily in UK golf magazines of the time but their clubs don't show up that often on ebay UK and the like.

I had a Slotline Inertial 5-wood with a Dynamic X shaft and it remains as the best 5-wood I ever used. Sadly at age 76, it would no longer be suitable for me but was up until 15 years ago.
