How long do your golf shoes last??

I play, on average, 180 rounds / year and ride all the time. I've always worn, up until last July, Footjoy, Adidas and New Balance golf shoes. Even alternating among two to three pair I would be lucky to get more than a year out of them, maybe 18 months max, if that. It is yet to be seen how long my Sqairz will last but I suspect much longer.

I'll buy a pair or two a year and rotate out the oldest ones but I've never 'had to replace any.  Currently have two pair of Ecco Biom Hybrid 3, one is 3 years old, one is 2 years old.  My feet still stay dry on early morning rounds.

I have 5-10 pairs. Some for horrible weather, others for sunny days. Some fancier ones for nice clubs etc. I rotate them often, clean them up periodically, change the spikes every second winter or so.

 

I might drop the most beat up pair each year but usually I add a couple pairs anyways lol.

found a nice pair from ECCO (BIOM 3?) last year and they were very comfortable. They were made from real, soft, leather and wore out on the exterior around the toe (unfortunately, I spend a lot of time in the trees). However, they're still very comfortable. I think mostly due to the sole design and of course the comfort inside.

This season I picked up some FJ Hyperflex, due to the appearance from the ECCO's and they are really uncomfortable. I like the wrap around design for the tongue, however, they are very hard to walk on the plastic spikes on the outter front ball of the foot. Even in grass or softer ground.

 

like a lot of people mentioned, confortable long lasting shoes at a high price point are difficult to replace if they don't live up to the balance of price to comfort to durability. I'd definately go back with ECCO, maybe find a more durable pair and avoid the fancy leather.

My ecco hybrid 2's were bought in 2017 or 18 I believe. They're still very good in condition. 

My Pro SL Carbons were bought this year and have a couple outsole spots becoming unglued. I think I'd be replacing those with some sort of spiked shoes like Puma PWR Adapt (Again) or Nike Infinite Tour which are not removable spikes.
