Just placed an order for another BB fairway wood option today.

believe it or not, I have never hit a AD DI in ANYTHING.

So this will be my little "shootout":

[b]3 wood BB head set to 17*[/b] [i]OR[/i] [b]5 wood head set to 17*[/b]

some combination with these:

[b]AD DI 7 [/b]
[b]Blue Board 83 [/b]
[b]Devotion 7[/b]

I have. For whatever reason, I really like the feel/sound of that BB head.

will be trying it out with a 661 speeder. are the bb and xhot2 equally forgiving? I need something stupid easy to hit as my driver game is hurting right now.

In my limited experience I felt the standard BB was more forgiving that the X2 Pro. I have not hit the standard X2.

i demoed a BB w the new PJX hand crafted something er ather shaft .... good lord
it made that head come alive

longest, most forgiving, straightest, smoothest, overall BEST combo's I've hit all year
sadly ive HO'd too much to order it straight up .....

the Nike will stay seated for now

Hi Ladahl, cool bag you have there. I apologize for not reading all prior 21 pages of this thread, but how would you contrast the performance of the Devotion against the Kiyoshi Gold (and any other colors you may have tried)? Are you playing 04 flex?

I have played the Devotion 06-04 in my driver and like the tight dispersion, but the feel is pretty dead to me and I definitely lose carry distance compared to my Fubuki setup. I'm now only using the Devo on super windy days for the added control. I am intrigued by the Kiyoshi line and they look really sweet visually. Thanks.

I personally have only tried the following Oban's in my drivers:

Devo6 04 (was my go to (still is), and I agree with everything you said about it in your post- It also was a great shaft to keep me from the snap hooks - very anti left

Kiyo Purple 65 04- great feel, but kind of a "heavier feel" for the weight if that makes any sense

Devo6 05- too much shaft for me

Kiyo Gold 65 04 - my current gamer, and I love it- gets me in trouble when I use too much right hand, however. Super feel, stable, and loads nicely.

Okay, so on a whim I ordered an Adams Pro 18*.

Stock Tour Red shaft.

We were hitting this set-up at an Adams demo, and we were blown away!!

This club is a sleeper for sure.

I think the BB woods, personally are a better club... Maybe not as "hot" feeling of a face, but with the multi material head, the sound and feel is just awesome on the BB stuff.

Yeah driver. Never got along with Callaway woods, but the price got me thinking.
