P.S. NOBODY over thinks how to putt a golf ball more than Vijay. How does he even hold that thing like that?! Chris Dimarco looks at that grip and says "wow that's weird lookin'"

They are Tour Issue 588 in the Matte Black Finish. Most bigger Cleveland accounts can order the 588 Tour Zip Grooves. I see that Vijay still has the Adams A3 hybrid in the bag.....that driver looks interesting....will have to check it out this year. Thanks for the pics!!!

That was one of the first things I noticed. A cavity back amongst the irons and a "2" stamped on the sole!

588 irons come 3-PW MB or 2-PW CB, and you can get any kind of split set you want. So yes that is a cavity back 2 iron.

Probably 17ish degrees and then a 13-14 3w. I play a similar setup but with 17.5* 5 wood instead of hybrid.

EDIT: 13* for sure, upon closer inspection of the first two pics.

That hybrid has been in his bag for awhile. Sticky originally bent a 22* "4 Iron" head to 18* with an Aldila VS Proto 95 XX shaft (I had one of these backups for a minute) but the catch is it's an Adams RETAIL A3 hybrid.....not some Tour Only Tour Issue head. The A3 Tour Prototype with a red sole was Adams 2nd most fade bias hybrid head they've made with the Peanut V1 being the 1st.

Those tour issue wedges look so much cleaner than the commercial ones. Are you saying that the tour issues can be purchased?

Very cool looking set up. Cleveland has some great looking clubs out this year. Hopefully they will do well with the new forged irons and wedges. I wish that new driver was black though...

1) In Golf Digest, they mention something about a special forging process that requires less material lost. What is this forging process?
2) Where are they forged?

It is such a shame he has lost the putting stroke, I soo used to pull for him... What a ball striker, he just has always struggled with the putter, has anyone seen this grip he has on the putter now? I feel all twisted up and its him doing it not me.... You would think that after all the tinkering with the putter he would go to a putting Guru for help in stead of trying to fix it himself...

1.
The 3 step forging process that CG uses reduces the excess flashing (material ground off) by 50% to ensure consistency through the set.

2. Endo in Thailand is where they are forged. One of the best in the business.
