Those are new shafts top to bottom... Tour similar to Kiyoshi black.... Gold is a higher launch higher spin than any other Kiyoshi.

Nice shafts and grips, every good player that I know that has gone with white ferrules grew tired of them rather quickly, surprisingly require some cleaning to keep looking best. Not trying to dampen enthusiasm, just an FYI.

Quickly threw the KBS Tours in the S3s tonight. Hitting them tomorrow. I built 3 clubs

4 iron - KBS Tour X Softstepped +1/2"

6 iron - KBS Tour X Standard

8 iron - KBS Tour X Softstepped +1/2"

Will report back with results!

Ended up soft-stepping the KBS once to play 1/2" long and went with white ferrules.

Played a 2 iron for about 3 months last year. And it was probably harder to hit than this one. Only problem was it has a pinsized spot that went 250 and the rest went 240. That was a problem.

Jay I love those cobras! I probably won't see them by time the snows gone you'll have something else. Cool aviator, who's in the picture? Need some pictures of the shaft in your driver, or are you on to something else.

That's me in the pic. Driver shaft will be here this week along with some other goodies. I'll update when I get Everything. Ps. Cobras will make it a while. I love them.

Sweet bag and super shafts.

Yea, I did the white ferrules with the Pure Blue/Pink monogrammed grips on my metals and hybrid.

As noted above, though I'm obsessive about my clubs, it was tiresome keeping those babies clean, lol.

I swapped em out, lol, though they were hands down, the coolest look I've had.

Oh well, it's like the beautiful girl who's just too damn high maintenance, lol.

LMAO, I know the meds have kicked in when I start comparin beautiful women to frickin ferrules

I have played the following in my 8.5 D3
BB73x tipped 1"
DI7x tipped 1"
D+ 72x

I had very similar numbers from the DI and D+. Numbers are roughly 12* launch with 2800rpm

Before that I played a a Razr Fit 8.5 with an Attas elements MK 6x tipped 1/2" and had very good results.
Classic 290 9* with a Rombax 6x07 x-stiff was a little spinny.

12ish with 2400 would be ideal. I hate a ballooning ball flight into the wind.

The D+ and DI felt a little loose at times and i couldn't really go after one comfortably when i wanted to. I will be keeping the D+ as a backup and in case i make any swing changes
