That's a good looking putter. I am in Ohio too and actually played 9 last night. I just bought a Byron Morgan DH98 that I used for the first time yesterday. I used to rotate between three Edels, but I am not sure I will be rotating now. I do plan on buying one more Byron most likely this year so it may become the gamer as I think it will be exactly what I am looking for. Basically, this Byron is great, but after having it and seeing some other photos of side by sides, I think I want a Da Kine with some custom hand grinding.

Likely going with old reliable... PING Redwood Anser with DIY white-out paint job (first try). 33" with the grey PP58 grip. [Sorry the pics are a little blurry... they didn't look that way on my phone.]

My is so basic I won't even post a picture. It is an old school Ping Anser 2, off the used rack at Golf Galaxy. It is still in mint condition, and it is one of the few putters I have ever felt that I can make everything with it.

I used this Byron about half the golf season last year and couldn't be more pleased with the looks, feel and performance. Been playing for 25 years andI had the best putting year of my life. I have another Byron on order, DH11 with the same neck and look but the anser head.

Going to be either a Piretti or a Bettinardi.
A similar Nike (Made in China) is pushing what a person would pay for the same USA made Piretti or Bettinardi.

Looking forward to rocking this new baby!

That's a beauty there!

I never understood why Cameron released the OTR California Fastback with the triple site lines. Looks so much better like yours with the single line.

The same Byron Morgan is too rich for my blood. (Sorry BM lovers but facts are facts. And I am not trying to disparage BM. Great product.)
Carbon steel is carbon steel. Tool path programming, set-up, machine time, would be equal.
A Haas tooling center would make one like carving butter using SGS carbide tooling or something of a similar ilk.

Byrons aren't much more than Bettis. I was looking at Bettis when I ran across Byrons. Production Bettis start at $299 I thought and Byrons start at $350. There are plenty of $1000+ Bettinardis as well as Byrons. The reason I went with Byron vs Bettinardi is that I could not get a custom putter for the same price from Bettinardi. I didn't want a sight line on my putter. To get a Betti with no site line it was going to cost me well above $750 and then I was not going to be able to get it shaped etc like I wanted.

Oh I understand.
I for one am not trying to take anything away for BM.

I like the looks of the Low Tide.
What is the toe hang like?
And how big is the Salty Grip?

No problem, I just didn't want anyone to read this and think Byrons are all over $1000 GSS etc. Like I said, I started off looking at Bettinardi's because they are so precision like, quality flat sticks for sure. I just couldn't get one without a sight line so I went looking else where. If BB would have had a naked putter with a little rounding on the trialing edge, I would be using a Bettinardi and would never have researched Byrons.

The toe hang is around 4:00 to 4:30, the salty grip is similar to the superstroke lite which I believe is 1.3" diameter the difference is in the contour & feel.

I plan on using this one which I picked up in Oct. 2012, it has only been used 3 times by me last fall but I like it. If it starts to misbehave then I will be back to my Metal X Rossie.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
