Lately I have been using my METHOD 003 proto and am enjoying being away from a mallet. However, if my life depended on it the spider ghost would go back in for the familiar factor. Ironically, I'm not sure I make more putts with the spider as I'm catching a part of the hole on nearly every putt with the 003. It really comes down to the drastic change I made from balanced to toe hang (my choice). I'm hoping Nike opens up a custom shop... If so I would love a GOLO style mallet with the method grooves that i could switch back and forth from. It really is amazing how much truer the ball rolls vs the TMAG insert.

Before I went to the METHOD. I was putting lights out with the spider. It was almost scary!

True. Maybe just a new bag then...? The GOLO would only go in the bag with method grooves. I may rotate my ghost back in for fun... as an alternative.

wanted to give a bag update...

since getting my oven setup i have stayed away from TRACKMAN and FLIGHTSCOPE as i didn't want to tinker. however, something just seemed off with the driver. although i have needed to adjust my driver from 8.5 to 10.5 to get the proper flight (in the past i have typically played the driver at 7-8 depending on the head) the ball still seemed to react funny. for some reason i am spinning the living hell out of this driver. at the oven i wasn't - but this head spins - and spins quite a bit. it is starting to make sense (the distance loss) with the exception of how low and flat it fly's. typically when it spins it balloons, however, with this head it is almost the opposite. very confused. either way i am going to test my head against the retail covert tour and a few other heads like the 913d3, SLDR and g25 to get a reference point.

i only had two rounds with the 913's before the nike showed. i hit it well - however i spin the 913 just a hair too much. of course i don't have the 7.2ts in it - just the diamana WB 73x, so i could get it down slightly.

[size=4]And now that makes 3 of us to somehow end up with spinny Covert Tour heads. I had one on flightscope/foresight in the beginning of the year and it was lower spin than anything. Then I bought one and it spun like top even with my 6.2 TS that I use in every driver head.[/size]

[size=4]Sounds like the SLDR should win out slightly over the 913 unless you can get the spin numbers down a little. I think I'm going to hold out until I know if there's going to be a sub-460 cc TP head coming out.[/size]

need to put this in the mix just to see what happens. i hit a fellow wrx member's g25 on the course and i was VERY surprised. also this ended up being in the top of the WRX people's choice so it will be good way to officially weight in with a take.

ignorance was bliss. unlike your driver - the flight was not showing the spin.

without knowing anything about the 2.0 it's hard to say. both the tour and the performance look good though.
