no doubt! however i did get my first two PM's today about the equipment LOL! took almost 4 days. hopefully something comes from it... a shame - as it is great equipment. i'm OCD though. i can't play Nike and TMAG in the same bag. i have two pairs of ADIZERO's that i have only wore two rounds a piece - going to move them next. i don't mind selling those for half price as i long as i recoup enough from two to buy another pair of Nike's

Keep your eye on the "Want to Buy" forum. I have sold a fair amount of equipment on there without ever listing on the BST. Plus the buyers are usually more serious and not fishing since they have already searched for the items.

Played my Ansers this morning. Sad because of how much $$$ I've invested, but the J40's are just better in the three categories that matter the most to me. Looks, feel, and turf interaction. If I had to play one iron for the rest of my life, it would be the J40 CB's.

Interesting... I've hit only a few balls and they are very good. There is a member here that I actually met through WRX and now he comes to my shop and buys a LOT of stuff from me. He had 712 AP2 that he liked and then sold to get Ansers with PXi and ended up hating them on course even though he liked them on the range. Fed up he tried everything and came away with J40's and love them with the stock PX Flighted.

By no means have the Anser's been banished to the woodshed. They are very good as well, and truth be told I need some more time with them. I'm not selling them, and it's always nice to have options to turn to when the flavor of the week starts acting up.

One noticeable difference is the Anser's have more of a heavy thump at impact. The B-stones have that traditional ultra soft forged feeling where it seems as though the ball actually stays on the club face a fraction longer. It seems like you're throwing darts with these things. I can't remember having so many memorable shots within such a short period of time with a set of irons.

Two other thoughts is the this set has the prettiest PW you'll ever see, and the turf interaction is unmatched by any set I've ever played. My home course has a very sandy range which can be a bit brutal on soft forgings. Chances are I'm going to grab another set just to have for when I wear down the grooves on these puppies.

Nice bag Swanry! I have a similar setup but with i20 irons. I agree in regards to your comments concerning the variable turf conditions in the NW. It can be soppy one weeks and then hardpan after a week of sun and wind. Keeps us on our toes...

I'm close to going with a V2, but I might wait for a black one. I did try an R11S V2, but went back to my stock model, as it outperformed the tour model for me.

R1 V2 is sick! However, the Covert Tour smoked it at the Oven during Swanry's fitting. Should be interesting to see how they do on the course for him.

I hit the Covert Tour briefly at a Nike demo day last week. It was long and consistent. The feel was good and it has a nice crack to it. Sounds better than my current R11S for sure. This was with the stock KK shaft. I'll have to try one on a monitor and some other shafts. Lots cheaper than the V2 as well.
