I received both the brass mokume and copper skulls last week. Ummmm, well, to say I'm pleased is an understatement. The copper looks and feels great and the brass is one of the best feeling putters in my ever growing Xenon collection.

If you haven't done so yet, you need to try a Xenon for yourself. Even though they may not be easily accessible to try before buy, you won't go wrong with getting one built for your first xenon. Afterall, the designing is a huge part of the fun and seeing it come to life is very exciting. Ok, stop reading this and go get one:)

I'm seriously considering a Xenon putter, but not until end of Sept, but I'm wondering if it's worth starting the contact and design idea process now, or wait a few weeks yet?

From experience, I would start the contact and design process now. PM Bule1101 above to start the process.

You will be surprised how often your design ideas will evolve and change with each project. There are so many factors, from head shape, type of metal, neck ideas, stampings, mill patterns, etc. And will find you like something today but then something else cool that Lumpy has done and want to incorporate that too. Once you are definitely set with your design, even it's earlier than expected, Ivan or Lump will have the order sheet ready to go when you are ready. It is a blast to say the least. Good luck and we can't wait to see what you come up with. If you need any help I'd also be happy to assist. After all, helping on a design of someone else's putter is then next beat thing, right?

I saw a brass manta mini on the bay last night. If my PayPal had the scratch it would be mine. Xenon is the only boutique guy making interesting/innovative flatsticks right now IMO. Their craftsmanship is only rivaled by their artistic value. I hope to have a "made by lumpy" original in the bag next year.

Haha, yes afraid so! I used to be a member at Boyce Hill, then I stopped that and just played everywhere. Just become a memeber at the Rayleigh Club (formally Lords)
