Its ok. Similar to my order but still a bit off. Rolls and feels nice though, just hoping my order comes through.

Its ok. Similar to my order but still a bit off. Rolls and feels nice though, just hoping my order comes through.

 

Ahh yeah. Not ideal. Hopefully It'll be worth the wait.

I've been waiting quite a while, really no big deal, although I'd like to get it, I know lumpy is having a lot of issues with his home life with sickness etc in the family. So family life always comes first.

 

But my putter is going to be sick!!

I saw the cavity shot on Lump's Instagram page, but there was a great deal left 'unsaid'. Handsome stick Roadking. Many of my favourite Xenon qualities. Also digging the tuxedo cover. I didn't know they were offered in Tiffany blue.

 

PS - just caught a glimpse of Lefty's putters. Good day in the Xenon thread. Hopefully other putters follow shortly.

 

Giving me the itch to swap a Xenon grip out.

Got the two Xenons I ordered minutes ago. That makes 4 Xenons in my collection now. Went with two different styles but both wide (1.5") the way I like. The 3B was altered by Lumpy to be more rounded at the back and Lumpy made the Wide X a Notchback for me. Both centre shafted as that's all I use.

Thank you sir! Yeah this was a few months in the making. We went through changes and discussion back and forth trying to dial it in perfect.

 

The story on the headcover is I think delilah made a few of them. I reached out asking her to recreate another Tiffany cover she did in the past. She said she would have to get Lump's approval. She said the only 'Tiffany' cover she could do because of available material was a Tuxedo Tiffany. I told her I wanted her to make and I would buy it.

 

Then I reached out about a month later and Lump had already told her to make and send it to him so I could have it with my putter. Pretty cool gesture in my opinion.

Yeah I have 5 Xenon Covers. My last name is Uselton as well so gaming Xenon stuff holds a high significance to me. I specifically tracked down a few covers, just because. The original Yellow Uselton Putter Co. was the hardest to track down. With the help of Adler, I found it and even got it just in a trade for another cover. I had the Halloween cover with my first Xenon and really regret letting that one go. I didn't have another cover to sell with it at the time and I wanted a custom putter made from Lump for me.

 

Plus my boys each have a Xenon Aluminum Element with their 2 covers.

 

Delila is amazing. She did a Custom driver cover for me for my dad on fathers day with his company logo. She is really great to work.

This is me for sure. I had a spec sheet typed out of all my wants. Everytime I changed something, I updated my word doc. A few times, I just resent the document as there were just too many changes that I couldn't expect him to remember the change from this finish, to that neck, and on and on. Overall I am really happy with how it turned out.

 

On the course, it rolled really really well for me. This one has about a 4:00 toe hang where my other Longneck was face balanced. I need a little as I incorporated some arc to my stroke during the build. It was initially supposed to be LN and face balanced. He did a great job of incorporating my wants and my need. Got a 3/4 long neck with just a hair of toe hang. Burned some edges. 1st hole played with it, rimmed out for birdie. 2nd hole, rolled in a nice 25 or so footer for bird. Think its going to be a good fit for me.

Haha. I do all my changes in plan before I make the order, then try to stick with. The biggest issue is I have so many ideas for putters I want, it's going to cost me a fortune.

 

Putting a notch in your putter will never feel so right!

well, I told lump that after this week i would cancel my order. I was told it would go out last week and I would see pictures...nothing but silence. I know he has had a rough year and I hope he can recover. going on 7 months, I had to cut it off somewhere. Hope everyone is doing well, and hopefully xenon gets back on its feet.

Yeah me too. Design was awesome and would have been the coolest putter i have had. Unfortunately lump just couldnt deliver.....maybe in the future we can get it figured out.

What material is the 'X' badge made out of in the cavity. Really cool looking 'shimmer' to the badge.

I took my ALBZ Manta for a 'spin' this morning. She puts such a smooth roll on the ball. Got me wondering, does anyone know what Lump calls this face mill? It's the only one I've ever seen like it.

 

Will also add the patina on this putter is unreal. Pre-applied with a hint of natural aging.
