I think we will see Tiger in great form this year. A lot of the pieces seem to be coming together. His swing seems to be generally going in the right direction and his personal life has leveled out. I don't openly root for him to win but golf is more exciting when he is in the hunt and it brings more money and resources to the game I love.

I like Tiger too, but just like every star and athlete I ask the same question: Why is this news and why should I care? His life does not affect mine. I'm glad they're happy and hope he does it right this time.

[i]Why is this news?[/i] Easy. This is a major "power couple"-ing of two MAJOR sports stars. Which is why (imo) the two of them are announcing it like this in an effort to try to "get ahead of the story" and keep if from becoming a media free-for-all.

I edited my post. I'm glad they're happy and all and hope he does it right this time, but we're hammered with star news daily as if it has bearing on our direct lives. I hope he wins more and all, but him doing so will not affect it any. Just like people who expend energy hating the very air he breathes, as a fan, him dating another star really doesn't affect me. Just my opinion.
