I really want to try some Edel wedges. I really don't want to pay that sticker price.

I have gone back to the TVD K 58 but still have the 54 Edel in the bag. I go back and forth and can't make up my mind on the 58. I am going to test them again when the rough grows back up. That was where I liked the Edel 58 the most. But right now I like the TVD a little better.

Price tag on the cast Edel, which I think is all they are making now is about $180 shipped.

I am going to need a 54 and possibly a 59-60. I wish I could test them out. $180 is steeeeeeeep. I wish Scratch wedges were still reasonably priced with the full customization and KBS shafts. Those were the days.

Within the next two days, I have 5-6 boxes of gear being delivered. Basketball kicks, bundle of golf gloves, Elements Chrome, SLDR, Chome+ balls, and Musli. The weather is supposed to turn and be 75, to boot! It is a glorious time!

Holy cow, Scratch wedges are even more expensive than I thought! I remember when they were $99 for the cast model and included custom stamping, ferrules, etc. I should have jumped then!. I have met Ari in person and have had excellent customer service from others there before. However, I can't justify shelling out $360-400 for wedges I haven't even tried before.

If you are talking BBQ and leave out STL you guys are nuts! Pappys smokehouse in St.Louis is hands down the best ribs and BBQ I have ever tasted. (That includes KC, Texas, and that crappy Vinegar sauce from the carolinas...haha)

I haven't had a chance to go, yet. I will at some time in my life. An opportunity just hasn't presented itself.

Actually, I have only been to one PGA Tour event, one Senior event, and one Web.com event. WGC-Cadillac, 2013 Senior US Open (Omaha), and Midwest Classic (KC), respectively. I would like to make it to the WM and the Masters, for different reasons, of course.

I went to the Price Cutter Classic in Springfield (Web.com) for my first event, then I went to the Masters, as a result, every other professional tournament will be ruined Went straight to the top. Got to see Jason Day's hole in one in the Par 3, told KJ Choi nice shot and got a response, got left hanging on a fist bump from mickelson, and had a couple pimento cheese sandwiches. Awesome experience.

I had a chance to do some initial testing with the Stage 2 Tour 9.5 + Aldila NV 75 X. First, I love the feel, even better than the Oban Devotion. Second, this thing launches LOW and FLAT! The range goes downhill, but it was running like a scolded dog. It [i]might [/i]be too low launching/spinning, I am going to get some on-course testing in this weekend.

Just as soon as I write this ...

I made it to the range over lunch. The wind is CRAZY here in KC today. It was pumping 30 MPH straight into us. Considering the wind, I hit some of the best drives of my life with the Aldila NV 75 X. All the things I was worried about shined in this wind.
