I don't need them as I'm a righty but my younger cousin could. He's in school and currently and plays with some old graphite shafts. I'm sure he could use something new. He's tried the play it again a few time and the lefty selectiln was poor.

I'm a high school lefty golfer, but I don't need this because I spend all the money I earn on golf. I'm just really happy you are doing this because I have a lot of friends who don't have jobs and can't pay for golf. Kudos to you.

Sold my Nike VR Splits to buy my girlfriend a very nice watch for Christmas. Watch was stolen off of my porch less than an hour after delivered so I'm out my clubs and a very nice present. Lost my job the next week so now I am back in the parents basement. Hopefully whoever gets these has better luck and to the OP your generosity is a dying phenomenon. Happy Holidays to all.

I have seen some of the Big Brother stufff and I have to agree it is pretty horrible stuff and think it was made when the original big bertha line came out. Golow what an awesome gesture.

To the young guy with the Big Brothers. If your guitar was in the garage, it probably wasn't something worth big bucks. Looking on Ebay, those Big Brothers look OK to me for a start. I know you're disappointed you got a Callaway knockoff, and the Callaway woods that came with it have no resale value. But you got a set of clubs with no cash outlay. Count your blessings.

I hate to sound like your grandfather (I'm probably as old as your grandfather) but I would have been proud to have those clubs when I was your age. If those clubs are not exactly what you wanted, welcome to the real world. Most of us don't get exactly what we want.

It's not the end of the world that you have Big Brother golf clubs. I'm sure they're of better quality than the OEM's would have you to believe. Why would Callaway initiate legal action to stop their sale?

Hi! First thing i want to say is that your doing a great thing by giving these clubs away.... Ok I am a highschool/tournament golfer and would really I mean really appreciate you giving me the clubs! I'm currently a 10 handicap and I'm rapidly improving. I would really appreciate these clubs because.........

Driver- I am always fighting a slice/fade and my current cleveland hibore tour driver has an open face and accentuates my slice/fade a lot. Also, its from like 2006 and kids in tournaments have literally come up to me and told me to get a new driver (I'm not joking). I think your driver with its adjustability will really help me.

3 Wood- I'm currently using a diablo octane wood with a regular shaft and its a little whippy and erratic. Even though its not that big of a deal I would love using your 3 wood off the tee and I know I could use that X stiff shaft well!

Hybrid- I'm using a R7 cgb hybrid right now and while I like it sometimes I get the hooks going soooooo yeah. Also, the adams hybrids with the slots I find very hot off the face and could use it to fill the gap between my 3w better (if I get more distance)

Irons- If I'm honest with u I would really only use the long irons as I just got new irons for Christmas....... I know you probably don't want to separate things but you could ship the irons to the other guy and the rest of the stuff to me. (It would be greatly appreciated, it would make both of us happy!)

Wedges- I am actually going to switch to a 50, 54, 58 degree wedge set up but I haven't bought the wedges yet so it would really help and save me money if I got your 54 and 58 degree wedges.

Putter- Right now I use an old taylormade blade putter and I have a SBST stroke. My putting is pretty bad.....(38 putts and shot 80 at a tourney.... YIKES) Most of it is due to missing short putts from inconsistent contact and using a unforgiving putter. The grooves and the large head will really help me get my confidence with short putts because its gonna be a lot more forgiving! (Maybe I can start sooting in the 70's consistently!

I'll really put your equipment to good use as I practice a lot and always play tournaments. It will also save me from some of the looks I get from competitors and some of the other high school golfers. I would really appreciate you giving me the clubs! And thanks for reading my super long post!!!

He sent me a PM soon after the thread went up. His youngest brother is also a lefty, the clubs suit him, and h has the need. It's not for me to tell you his story.

Some of you guys deserve better than what you are playing - Big Brothers, broken clubs etc. My only issue was that some of the most compelling scenarios came from guys with just single digit post counts and join dates of this month. These guys will see this type of thing happen a lot on WRX ... hell I do this type of thing every year. They just needed a body of work under their belts before they get free stuff.

mctrees02 is actually paying this forward to his kid brother ... I can't pass that up.
