GolfWRX is live this week from the 2014 Franklin Templeton Shootout at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla. The course was designed by tournament host Greg Norman and will play as a par-72 measuring 7,288 yards for the event.

The competition will feature 12 two-man teams playing a mixed format, including a modified alternate shot, better ball and a scramble. Last year, Matt Kuchar and Harris English took home the trophy and will be looking to defend their title this year.

Notable teams in the 2014 field include Jason Day & Cameron Tringale, Patrick Reed & Brandt Snedeker, Billy Horschel & Ian Poulter, Keegan Bradley & Camilo Villegas and Graeme McDowell & Gary Woodland. Norman will be in the announcer's booth this week, as Fox Sports is set to make its golf broadcasting debut.

Looks like an xhot 2 3 wood in the swing pics, too. Safe ti say we can expect an announcement about his switch to Callaway in the coming weeks?

Tiburon have had some problems with 4-5 greens being less than perfect. They are playing a composite course, using the front nine of the Black course and then 2 holes from the front nine of the Gold and 7 holes from the back nine of the Gold. Lots of walking for spectators and lots of shuttling for the players, caddies and volunteers.

Can he even swing a club properly yet? One handed? Hope he's able to fully recover, not that he's playing competitively much. I really wished he'd play on the Champions Tour a little.

Edit - just saw Part 2 and he's back!

From what I can see on Twitter, RS's tattoo is just around his upper wrist, not a full sleeve. (Looks like he also got remarried, not that it's any of my business but I do remember his divorce was pretty nasty) Will be interesting to see that on tv coverage as not many guys have visible tattoos. Guys like Nitties and DeLaet have upper arm tattoos that are mostly covered by their golf shirts.

Good to know, was weird to see the hole so far from each other.

I walked it today and there were some really long walks from some of the greens to the next tee. More than when they played just the Gold course. Already got in 7+ miles today on the FitBit.
