    Dan's the best!!

    Here's mine :

Very nice - I just started a new order with him!

So Dan has passed the company on to Dennis Ryan - Just placed my order with him. He's been great to work with so far. Hoping to have the same quality product as I first got from Dan.

Didn't know that. Looking for to see what the results are from Dennis.

Has anyone tried the yardage book/scorecard holders from Bluegrass Fairways?

I have the minimalist one in Dublin Chestnut. It's really nice, my girlfriend got it for me for a Christmas present with my initials stamped on the inside. The only thing i'll say is since it's ALL leather it's pretty flimsy, I know they have the Vintage Bourbon one that is made with a firmer backing that people might like more if they're used to a traditional scorecard holder with a firm back. But, I really like the minimalist since it's exactly the size of the pockets on all my shorts/pants. Maybe an inch sticks out the top of the pocket, but that's about it. It's nice, i'm happy with it.

    Hi All,

I'm trying to give this thread a bump.

Looks Bluegrass seems to be a favorite and the Minimalist looks like plenty of a holder, as I don't really have/need a yardage book any longer. I remember seeing holders in the past that seemed to be good quality with a metal clip in the middle, at the fold, rather than a fabric elastic band to hold the card in place. Does anyone have an example of this? Google searches basically only show the clip on the steering wheel of a motorized cart.

I kept looking in my commute to work this morning. Anyone try TPK Golf? Again, I like the clip idea

I'm using this, as well. It has worked great for every card I've used (except printed competition cards) and also worked great with yardage books. For a pretty cheap option, I would really recommend this.

how do you compare the bluegrass cover vs the back9b pocketbook style? Which one is more functional? I really like the look of both.

Both are high quality, well made covers. The Back9B is slightly "wider" so if your back pocket is narrower or prefer easy in and easy out, id go for the "traditional" style like that made by bluegrass fairway. Having said that, the red Back9B is one of my favorites due to its unique design and quality leather.

You won't go wrong with either of them.

I did one with the team logo I had created for the high school team I coach. Sunfish. I like it.

I carry a family picture inside it. So, if I start to get frustrated, annoyed, whatever, I flip to it to relax. A nice reminder to not waste the time I have away from them on negative emotions.
