OK, time for more golf after a two week break. The TV coverage is decent, but not great, with 12 hours of coverage. The weather looks like it'll be near perfect with most sunny skies and daytime highs in the low 70's.

The field is very strong with only Inbee, Hyo Joo, and Eun Hee sitting out.

My pick this week is Sung Hyun. A winner in 2017, she's due for a good weekend. Minjee and Jin Young will contend. 6ix should also be in the mix.

In Gee may not be ready for prime time; but she continues to improve and will be inside top 20.
Yealimi Noh will showcase a new Odyssey EXO Stroke Lab Seven Mini S Putter, and snatch a top 5.

It's impressive. I like the sound of her ball striking. 🧨 She is only 12, but she compresses the ball very well. Let's hope that she continues to develop as a player!!👍

Going with D.K, she needs a boost for the Solheim Cup. Let's see if Brittany A, Nasa and Amy Yang figure in come Sunday. Still hoping Yu Liu pulls one off, she'll fit in nicely for my darkhorse pick.

Since you got 4 of the top 5 ranked players covered, I like your odds. No love for Lexi?

She's a great player, but it's risky picking her outside of the U.S.

Are you serious? Of her 11 LPGA wins 4 came outside the US, she won the Dubai Ladies Masters in 2011, the World Ladies Championship Salonpas Cup ( one of JLPGA's Majors ) in 2016. Looks like a pretty good record outside the US to me.

Sorry, it was a joke. Apparently a pretty bad one as well. Let's not clog up the tournament thread.

For the tournament, I'll cheer for Brooke this week and the back-to-back win at home. Always cool when any of these foreign players can win the one (or so) tournament that is played back in their home country.

When the BCS system started I'd have friends that would root for chaos. I'm going to root for US Solheim chaos. Ally McDonald wins. Top 10 for Annie Park, Ernst and Stanford. Top 20 for Kerr and Lewis.

I'm in the same place as last time: go Hee Young! You can do it!
Wow what a field, my leaderboard is packed. Always excited when Inky is in.
I'm picking Lydia. That's right, Lydia! She's going to come in fired up and determined, and this is one her very best tourneys.
I hope Brooke has good luck and a good defense. Like everyone says, she's so the champion of her country, it's perfect.

My tip is Sung Hyun Park. I am not sure where Ariya J is at right now, but I feel it is going to be a winless season. Improved showings from Haru and In Gee. More pain for Lydia for now. Team Henderson will hit some snags in their title defence, and get a bit frustrated at some point, before finally coming good late for a top-20 finish.
Out of interest, has anyone ever got it right with these pre-tournament picks?!
