I've played two of these balls for over a week now and they're great. The durablility is very nice to say the least. It feels nice off the irons and putter--not hard or not soft. The ball is long--the longest? It depends on who you are. I thought that it played better (overall) than the Nike One Platinum and the Maxfli BlackMax. Very similar to the HX Tour (in terms of performance).

This ball is long, the longest premium ball I have ever played. The durability is good, but will sheer after a number of wedges. I can get 18 holes out of it, as long as I don't hit it off the planet. :vava: My only concern is as summer continues to firm up our greens in the north east, the ball lacks a little spin. May use the Pro v1-x until the greens soften up. ;)

Try the B330S for a little more spin. What is the status of the patent infringement lawsuit Bridgstone filed against Titleist over the design of the ProV, V1, X, etc. balls?

My only concern about this ball is how long you can play them before they need refueling...These things are rockets for me! I tend to fight a high launch, high spin shot, and these keep the spin down just enough. I think they are the best balls on the market right now for my game anyway. Flight is lower than the V1X with the same amount of carry, and it seems to hold the greens just as well. Would like a little softer feel off the putter, but I will get used to it.

Just tried one of these last week and was very impressed. If I had to find a downside, I would probably say they are a bit on the firm side feel-wise, but that certainly isn't a major issue and I had no trouble stopping them on the green. They seem to hit and stop rather than screw back, which suits me just fine. I found the durability was excellent as well.

Only other issue was I had just about a PB day hitting greens in reg (16/18), so I'm not really sure how they spin on chip/pitch shots around the greens. I only mention this, as I often play a Srixon (HRX-333, URX, Z-UR) and, as much as I like them, I find they are often difficult to get much spin with shorter shots.

its normal, my favorite ball but everytime I hit a full wedge or even a short iron it looks like the dimples raise or move or something. not a cut shred like with the hx tour, but they wear easy nevertheless. For 40 bucks a box, the durability is becoming a factor. Love the ball, but can't stand using three or four a round because of the wear.

I agree - as you can see from my WITB I'm Bridgestone's #1 fan but these balls shred to pieces...I'll stick with Pro V1x's....

I couldn't get any cheap Srixon Z-UR on eBay, so I bought these because of all the hype. They are the same off the driver as the Z-UR, but spin a lot more on short irons and around the green. They do have durability issues, much like the Srixon. I like how hard they are, but there is something I can't seem to put my finger on that makes me not like them nearly as much as the Srixon. I will go back as soon as I have a chance to loose all these balls.

I've been playing these for a few rounds now. I like the ball on the driver and the irons, good distance and it seems to stop pretty quicky after it lands. Not much chance of bringing one back towards you though, certainly less spin than my normal ProV1X or TP Red, especially on short shots around the green. They are fine for the early season greens, but I couldn't play them when the greens are hard and fast.

From the putter they are a bit firm and clicky for my preference, I'd need to try the 330-S to see how that plays. As for duribilty I'm not impressed at all, a full wedge (Solus RD's) and the cover is minced, 9 holes in competition or 18 in bounce games is all you can get from these balls.

Overall a decent but not outstanding ball.

I've not tried the B330 myself, but am a true convert to the B330-S.

tried it out last year as they were on offer in my local American Golf Discount store and was immediately impressed. Distance off the driver as good as any of the other premium tour calibre balls yet the spin around the greens was amazing ! These things stop on a 1/3 wedge shot.

I am utterly convinced this is the best ball I have ever used ( the Srixon Z-URC comesa very close second )

So if you want something other than the ball every man and his dog are playing  then I can't recomment the B330S enough.

I agree with acoomz. I played B330 and loved the distance, but I didn't get enough spin around the greens(I am used to playing prov1x). I tried the B330-s and the distance was same as b330, but it spins like the prov1x around the green.

I just bought a couple dozen of last years B330-s for 29.99each.

The only complaint is the durability.

How is the new B330-s compared to last years?

I absolutely love this ball. I must also admit I am not a massive ProV fan but the latest model is a massive improvement over previous models. I hit the ball incredibly high and am always looking for something that will remove a little spin especially with the short irons. I pull the ProV1 back and even the ProV1x spins way too much for me.

I find this ball is similar in performance and character to the Callaway HX Tour and Nike Black. Slightly lower spinning but certainly enough for someone like me who spins it excessively.

I do however agree that there is very little on the market that can compare with the durability of a ProV1. But I get irritated when I hit a solid shot that pitches by the hole and spins 30 feet away. The Bridgestone solves that problem for me.

Liked the performance, but I couldn't keep the cover on these things. I averaged 3 balls a round, without losing any. They were just completely shredded. Did I get a bad batch, or is that normal for these?

i just used these bought a box today. They were a pretty good ball pretty long, spin rate is not bad. But they did start to cut up a bit. I played 36 today and i used 2 balls the whole time. But for maroon the balls were probably completely shredded because you have spin milled wedges. That will eat up any ball, especially this one.

So I've been using the 2007 B330 since about April.

What I like:

Great driver distance

Excellent control in windy conditions

Good spin off the irons

Excellent durability

What I don't like:

Very "clicky" on putts

Seems very firm off the putter face

Poor greenside spin

Anyone else experience this? I feel like on putts the cover is so firm that I'm sacrificing some distance control and feel for the direction of the putt. Like the ball shoots off the putter face almost too quickly.

I'm on the verge of switching over to something a little more playable around the green. Maybe the B330-S (I played the original of this ball and it spun too much for me) or maybe the One Platinum.

I played the 2007 b330 most of last year and the beginning of this year. I switched to the TM burner TP about a month ago and I am giving up 5-10 yards off the driver but it feels much better of irons and the putter. Though the b330 is rated high spin, it is firm on partial wedge shots and the TM burner TP seems to spin better for me off the irons and wedges (though the stats in magazine reviews show the B330 should spin better). On soft greens I am spinning the burner TP back with 7 and 8 iron shots, I never did that with the b330 in any conditions.

Well, all I can say is Wow!

I had played this ball before but got caught up in pro v world, finally, I decided to take out a few sleeves from the pro shop since they were on sale, The next comp round I hole out for an Eagle on a Par FOUR, so I love these golf balls.

Distance is good, spin is decent, putter is a little clicky but I don't mind it.

Awesome ball.
