All new clubs (except for the TM Rescue 22) over the course of this ridiculously long MN Winter.

 

Driver: Adams Fast 12

Woods: 3: Sonartec SS-03 13* and undecided on 5 wood

Hybrid: TM Rescue 22*

Irons: MacGregor VIP V-Foil 1025C 4-PW

Wedges: Mizuno MP-R 52* and MP-T 58*

Putter(s): Odyssey DFX 2-Ball

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hopefully I can get some better pics and more of all my other crap. Just had a bit of time to kill while waiting for tonight. The V-Foils are probably the best forged irons I've ever hit.

I'll also probably put this Mizuno CLK Fli-Hi 23* into my bag today as well. I've never liked to keep a 3 iron in my bag (you can see my Launcher DST driver I had in my bag all last year below it. It's a good driver)

Just picked up a couple TaylorMade ATV wedges - 52* and 58* (my preferred wedge lofts).

Put back in play my TaylorMade Rescue Mid 22* Hybrid and 18* V-Steel 5 wood and hit them quite nicely last time out. Most lopsided 18 holes of my life went 17 over on the front and 2 over on the back with a double on the back and even missing a short bogey putt as well. Very bizarre round but was happy I hit 7 of 9 greens on the back after getting my head out of the ground on the front.

Love my 1025s. I've been trying to kick them out of the bag for 2-3 years now and just can't. Looking for a set of Pro-CMs to replace them, but haven't came across the right set just yet. Great looking bag!!

Have you hit your TM ATV 52* alot? Do you like it?

I picked up one this spring and have used it occasionally but I cant seem to find any consistency with it.

I honestly haven't hit the ATV enough to gauge it. I've been hitting a Mizuno MP-T series 51 degree (not pictured) that I just love. Trying to find a 58 to match it - once I get it will post photos.

Also picked up a SS03 5 wood to match my 3 wood. Have moved on from my Adams to an older 983 cut to 44" that I am more comfortable with.

That's for sure. Don't make me start naming off ex-Twins that are tearing it up right now or could be on our squad (Ortiz, Hunter, Hardy, Span, Revere, Cuddy, Morneau, Gomez, to name a few). Have to say I'm stoked about the new-look Wolves though this year.

Nice set up. Lots of different putters. I have an old Odyessy Dual Force mallet putter...but haven't used anything but a blade putters now for a decade. What's your opinion on which style is best?....you seem to have them all.

I think it's a matter of feel - or feeling out the different styles of putters. I've used them just about all (outside of the 8802s, which for the most part are just part of my random collection more so than for use).

The toughest for me to gravitate to (though I always thought they were the best looking) were the 8802s. I used an Anser for probably about 5 years. The last few years were mallets, and then last year and this year I finally got the old 2-Ball mallets I have because my buddy had one and they just felt right in my hands.

Lag putting with that WH 2-Ball has been pretty good since getting it a week ago. Made some clutch putts with it the last couple times out as well for par. It's my gamer for the rest of the year I suppose.

Just picked up this MacGregor staff bag which is nice because I've played a lot of rounds on carts. Overall there are some bags that haven't solidified their place yet. The 3 wood has been real shoddy lately. Driver has been golden; 5 wood was heaven at first swing - I know that will stay in the bag. My hybrid is very solid and my irons are solidified for until forever I love them so much. My wedges are pretty solid in their spot - the 588 57* has been the best really high degree club I've ever hit. I just grab it and swing with it and it does the job. The MP-T 58 I added some lead tape to and it's not in the bag right now.
