I pre-ordered mine custom (maroon dot) through GG on July 15th. Ordered a 54-SS and a 60-ES. Both showed up on July 20th. I was surprised they shipped the ES so early.

I have nothing but positives to say about it. I was using Tour Gorges before with the Thin Sole. I loved the grind for chipping but it would cost me here and there on full shots if it caught it fat.

The ES sole is noticeably better (and super soft like all Glide's) on the full shots and extremely versatile around the green. I am really glad I made the purchase.

All you guys who have both the Cally PM wedges and these should post detailed comparisons -- you will recoup much good will and you will need an abacus to tally up your "likes".

[/quote]Both are great all purpose wedges. The ES is way better out o the sand, just ridiculous. The PM was a little easier to really open the face on tighter lies for flops, but the ES was very good in that area..
The ES has incredible feel.

I like the PM, but somehow it felt like I just couldn't pick it out of the various sand lies as well as the ES. The ES seems like it was made for the sand but still excels all around the green. To me, the ES is the easy winner.

Anyone with new opinions of the Es glide wedges since the previous post. I have been considering this for a 56/60 combo over the more traditional ss grind. Wanting to know if people still feel they are versatile as some posters previously stated. Wondering if the grind should just be for one wedge (lob) or if anyone has two in their set they love. Thanks

Personally, I like it in the 56, as that is the club I use most from greenside bunkers, and for hitting knockdown shots into greens with. I don't like it much in the 60* on open faced shots, as I normally use a LW with extreme heel grinds and low bounce. The 60* ES is good for pitching and 3/4 approach shots tho IMO

I almost ordered a 60* ES, but decided to go with a 60* SS with the Lob Combo grind so that I can open it up for flops easier.

I read the ES is great from bunkers - how is it from the rough? Planning on using my 54 for everything and the 60 for only bunkers and those shots were u need to get up quick around the greens in the rough only.

I love my 58 ES. It's super versatile and great from bunkers and rough. I wish they made the 54 in an ES
