What does the eye2 sole do that the regular glides can't?

It automatically drops your hcp by 3 strokes, removes wrinkles and gets you the max tax return yearly.

It makes a higher effective bounce when opened up and smaller bounce when used square.

Will have 58 ES in bag tomorrow I hope.
Cally PM 58 has been very good to me
lately since I took a little bounce off the
back.

I ordered one a couple of weeks ago. I got a call today from the shop that the wedge was in. When I got to the shop I had to that smile upside down. The shop did not order the correct shaft that I wanted. So, a call to Ping and they say they will rush one and I should have it by next Tues. I did get to look at the club first hand and it looked even better than I expected. So now I am even more excited than before. Oh, well, I guess I can wait a few more days.

I feel like ping and callaway is making their wedges bigger and bigger. Just saying.

If by bigger you mean actually larger in size than with the Glide ES I have to disagree. To my eye it actually looked fairly compact. It is certainly looks smaller than the Callaway PM grinds that I am currently using. Which by the way are really great wedges.

i've tested the es 58° wedge this weekend. it preformed really really well for me in the short game area. great out of the high gras and even better out of the bunker. i can't even tell how good it was out of the bunker.
the only reason i didn't bought the wedge was, that from bare lies, the leading edge was to high for me. i just couldn't get the wedge in a good position under the ball when i opened it up.

I was told by Ping that this is the Best wedge out of the sand. I order a 56, bent to play at 55. I'm only planning on playing it out of the sand and heavy rough.

I pre-ordered mine custom (maroon dot) through GG on July 15th. Ordered a 54-SS and a 60-ES. Both showed up on July 20th. I was surprised they shipped the ES so early.

I have nothing but positives to say about it. I was using Tour Gorges before with the Thin Sole. I loved the grind for chipping but it would cost me here and there on full shots if it caught it fat.

The ES sole is noticeably better (and super soft like all Glide's) on the full shots and extremely versatile around the green. I am really glad I made the purchase.
