Sports is based on the will to win - to be the best - which leads to the other great debate , Golf isn't a sport.

 

But, lets assume Golf is at the least hi stakes checkers or ping pong.

 

Gimmie the days of when Tiger hated everyone and everyone hated Tiger or when Jack made his kids college switch up graduation so he could play in the open - that's SPORT.

Great equipment post dude. But, I now know the looks you get on the golf course had nothing to do with snobbery on their part. And I think I speak for a lot of true golfers on here that I like the parity on the PGA tour now. If you want to hang out with a bunch of people who only watch golf when Tiger is winning, go to Topgolf.

 

But i think my favorite thing about you is you post that you are thinking you want to switch to Cobra because Fowler is playing well, then a few days later post about him being a soft, spoiled loser.

I forget who it was, but a Hall of Fame LPGA...on of the greatest of all time. It was said she was the nicest, sweetest person you would ever want to meet, but on the golf course she would step on your throat. You can be "nice" and still focused on whipping everyone else. There may be a few guys out there who are happy with making cuts and what not, but this youthful crop seems very focused on winning. You can do that and not be an a-hole.

I can't disagree that golf on TV is becoming horrid. It seems like one commercial after another. Watch four shots. Watch four commercials. We get it already...erectile dysfunction and investing in the stock market!!! That's what there is more to life than, those two things.
