I read an interview with him where he said he hasn't used a fairway wood since I think his freshman year in college. He said he never really hit it and was more confident with his driver any way.

No fairway in play ever. He jumps straight from driver to irons. The UT is actually new as of last week. He had been using an Epic 3 iron bent strong and the distance gap to his driver is proportionate to what most of us get from driver to 3 wood. He’s just strong as a ?!

Maybe “college program free “ or something to that extent . Just shooting extremely wild speculations here but the NCAA might have the manufactures track college serials so kids aren’t fleecing them on eBay etc for rent money to survive
